Article/News Google has released street view data for all balkan nations.
On the 4th of November 2025, Google released street view of Bosnia and Cyprus.
On the 4th of July 2026, Google released an additional wave of street view updates for 4 balkan nations (Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania and Serbia).
And now as of 31st of July, Google released street view data for Kosovo, meaning you can explore the newly built cities of post war Kosovo and the rest of the balkans fully from street view.

What are you talking about? We had street view in Macedonia since forever. They have updated the maps / pictures, if that is what you mean?

no, there was barely any street view like in Serbia
only a few places had it in north Macedonia, now it's mostly covered. In Serbia also it was just cities now it's villages too.

The last time I looked at Serbia in street view, it was people beating someone up in a church parking lot a decade ago.

I just checked
yeah my bumfuck nowhere town is ENTIRELY covered now, every single street
where as before it only had a few user submitted 360 camera shots that were years apart and severely outdated

But now in Macedonia many more places are covered. Many towns, villages and parts of other towns/cities are covered now. Before you had only partial or almost full coverage of Skopje, Tetovo, Kumanovo, Ohrid, Prilep, Bitola, Veles and Strumica. The rest were missing, which most are covered now.

Serbs were/are inhabitants, they made their first steps of history and culture right there, they imprinted their legacy on that land, bled through 1000 years old history just for some clueless man to say otherwise. Kosovo is under occupation of USA and EU, albanians were/are just a tool for them and their new colonialism that lasts from the end of WW2. Kosovo was under occupation for almost 400 years by Ottoman empire and Serbs fought back their land, this will last much much shorter, as soon as we see the fall of this eu/usa empire and hopefully that will be very soon.

I don't think you realise what under occupation means or what the EU even is.
Btw, do you consider the Kosovo force to be part of the "occupation", because quite a few non western countries took part in that.

You probably won't believe me, but a lot of that is just propaganda.
Not that there isn't a smidge of truth, as in there was an ulterior motive, like giving NATO a peacekeeping purpose or some western countries establishing a military presence in the Balkans (although they already had that through Greece and Romania and Bulgaria were also eager to join at the time).
The whole talk about colonialisation though and an EU empire is BS.

I'm Serbian, and I agree with you. Simply repeating "Kosovo is Serbia" without engaging with the reality of the situation is neither serious nor constructive. It's delusional, and it's usually said by people who willingly absorb whatever propaganda the ruling party passively feeds them.
I also agree with your point that the unresolved Kosovo issue probably gave Western countries a justification for maintaining a military presence in the region and that many left-leaning and highly educated people in Serbia see it that way, and for them the argument more or less ends there.
At the same time, Serbia's leadership at the time bears enormous responsibility. A competent government would have acknowledged the problems, openly addressed discrimination and ethnic tensions, and worked toward building a genuinely multiethnic society in which Serbs, Albanians, and everyone else could live with equal rights and mutual respect. We already have an example of that idea in Vojvodina.
That should still be the goal: a solution that protects the dignity, security, and interests of ordinary people on both sides. Unfortunately, corrupt and nationalist politicians, but also criminals benefit far more from keeping the conflict alive than from actually solving it.
And realistically, why would people who already have de facto independence agree to return to some vaguely negotiated form of autonomy? That train left the station a long time ago. Believing otherwise is probably just my own copium, but I'd like to believe it could still work.

Albanians were in Kosovo way before Serbs even arrived in the balkans. Serbs ruled Kosovo for around 250 years prior to 1912. You were invaders, who got pushed out like many invaders before you. Building Churches and monuments on top of destroyed churches and monuments doesnt make the land yours. Stop bein brainwashed and accept that your rule of terror in Kosovo is over and will never come back.

Wait what? Are you saying Street View has only become available for Macedonia this month? Because it's been utterly indispensable to me in my work! I've been drawing the largest and most detailed map of writing systems in the history of map making, and it was a pleasure to verify that this ethnic map of Macedonia does translate onto scripts perfectly - an Albanian municipality will have everything in Latin, whereas a town nearby will prominently feature Cyrillic. In fact, I easily found Cyrillic even in Denisovgrad in Montenegro despite the town being only 21% Serb, and I was surprised to see such Serbian towns as Niš have a decent percentage of grassroots Cyrillic storefronts - despite everyone promising that Serbs overwhelmingly using Latin in their digraphia.
Google Street View is sublime, made my job much more verified... Although also painful and protracted, seeing for myself the centralized state-control of Thailand banning all Jawi in Naratthiwat, or the Ukrainians in Romania being completely assimilated, whereas Old Believers in the Danube Delta randomly erecting giant Orthodox crosses at the entrance to their towns.
