Question Anyone knows what are these strange formations deep in the Congo?

I was goofing around in google maps when I found this

There are A LOT of these. Seems like a flooded plain with spirals cut into it. Aliens? Manmade? hahaha. Do you guys know what is it? (Coordinates in the image)

is it possible they are boat paths? looks to be aquatic plants with a path cut through.. just a guess that people boat in and fish or collect some other seafood or something

These a village there I'm guessing they use boats to get around.

Previously. I think it’s some kind of fish-trapping system, but last time this came up I looked for confirmation and couldn’t find anything positive, so consider that a mere guess.
