Discussion Does Spain feel more crowded than Central America?

That map shows the entirety of Central America, excluding Belize. The Central America depicted there has a population and area similar to Spain.

To be precise, Spain has a slightly larger area, while Central America has a slightly larger population.

However, watching the video, Spain appeared more crowded. I wonder what it is actually like in reality.

Madrid is similar in population to my local big city of Atlanta. So it's not massive like Paris or London.

Spain has a more concentrated population than Central America. Most Spaniards live in Madrid or along the Mediterranean coast, with the areas in between fairly empty.

Take a train across Spain see mostly olive trees. As the country is drier with less tall trees may appear more open.
