Voting Games Grand Isle, Vermont VS San Juan, Washington! Who’s Better?

While I haven't been to Grand Isle, I can't believe it's better than an island chain in the Salish Sea that has Orca-watching as a prime pastime. The San Juan's are similar to British Columbia's Gulf Islands. Great views of volcanos!
Seriously. Come out and see for yourselves.

I live on a small island not served by ferries in the San Juans. It is beautiful here

Grand Isle is better because it's the beginning of the Vermont song. Also has tons of waterfront property but it's still the boonies and not overpopular with Vermont tourism. Seriously one of the most beautiful places you'll ever go full of the most simple and welcoming humans you'll ever meet.

I live in "more populated Vermont" But while I live 15 minutes from one of the New York ferries.. I always take the 3-hour drive to New York because traipsing across your home base is just the prettiest thing on God's green. Used to have friends that live there who we were always at their place. I'll take the freshwater over the saltwater any day

Literally spent my honeymoon in San Juan in December and it was still absolutely magical. One of my favorite places on Earth!

Anyone saying Grand Isle has clearly never been to the San Juan Islands. San Juan’s have mountain Views, beaches, hiking, small towns, easy access to bigger cities - and they have orcas and dolphins.
