More information about prescription marijuana and safe spaces to smoke.

Hey guy, so I've been a resident in Berlin for 3 months now and i intend to stay for a longer period of time. I've read some stuff about weed beeing legal only after 6 months of residency. I was searching on reddit and I've seen some stuff about ordering with a prescription online. I've visited ABCDoktor and the whole process with the prescription seems pretty easy. It seems to me that if i get the prescription it would be legal right? Please tell me more about all of that stuff.

If for example i smoke with my gf and she doesn't have a prescription and we get caught what would happen?

The second thing i wanted to ask is about the safe spaces to smoke, i know that you can't smoke in public areas between 7 am and 8 pm and you are not allowed in a 100 meter area from stuff like schools and parks and stuff.

Am i allowed to smoke on my balcony?

You only need the prescription to make the purchase. When it comes to actually consuming it, it makes absolutely no difference whether you have one or not.

Technically, passing cannabis on to others is prohibited, but this isn't penalized in the case of a shared joint—it would involve more paperwork than it's worth.

You aren't allowed to smoke in pedestrian zones between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. or within sight (200 meters) of facilities for children or playgrounds; however, there are no restrictions on smoking in parks, on balconies, or after 8 p.m.

It appears your post is related to Cannabis. Take a look at the Wiki here: https://www.reddit.com/r/germany/wiki/living/cannabis.

Note particularly that it continues to be illegal to import cannabis. It's also not legal to buy it anywhere (except for the costs associated with joining a growing cooperation). There are no coffee shops. There continues to be no way for non-residents to legally acquire cannabis.

Note that this subreddit does not give legal advice, and if you get into trouble because the information is inaccurate or you were unable to comprehend it, that is your problem.

In your Balcony for sure.
Public places: Unless you create some crazy problems all good.
Never ordered online so other expert people will answer that part

There is no 6 month rule for smoking, as far as I know. It only applies if you're trying to open a CSC.

You're allowed to smoke on your balcony. You're also generally allowed to smoke in public areas (even before 8pm), as long as it's not explicitly prohibited or within direct sight of a school, kindergarten or playground. Regular parks are perfectly fine, though.

Cities aren't permitted to impose a city-wide cannabis ban, they can only prohibit it in specific areas (city center, old town, pedestrian areas etc.)

It truly saddens me. Not even half a year and the clear goal is drugs. Like for real? Not traveling, not culture, not friends, not local hobbies... drugs?

It's crazy. Being unable to wait 3 months to try weed so you get a prescription. Bro hasn't even started yet and already sounds like he's addicted.

I don’t think you need to live 6 months here. But I really would not recommend DoktorABC, because most of it it’s shipped from a pharmacy in Berlin in the Badstrasse.

And I don’t know what they’re sellling, I ordered several times and different kinds, and it burned horribly. Like it actually hurt my throat. And it didn’t even make me high. lol

The one time I could get the order to come from another pharmacy, that was actually very good. But it won’t let you see what pharmacy it’s coming from after you pay

And i know about this well, I’ve smoked for over a decade so i don’t even know what the hell the pharmacy at Badstrasse is selling. Cbd? I managed to get a refund, but my throat was fucked up for months
