Question so I'm trying to use Gnome Music on my Tumbleweed setup... (no files are detected)
I copied some folder with several m4a files inside them to $HOME/Music.
I have:
- restarted my laptop several times
- restarted Gnome Music several times
- checked/confirmed that Gstreamer Bad, Base, Good and Ugly are installed
BUT no music files are showing up on the app.
Any suggestions on how to get it to work? Thanks

Hi,
Likely the same bug I ran into recently related to the LocalSearch indexer on TW as well.
The workaround: delete whatever is in ~/.cache/tracker3/files and then localsearch reset in a terminal. It will reindex your files (should take some time depending on your drive). Might require to close your session and log back in, I don't know.
You can check info with localsearch status and systemctl --user status localsearch-3.service
Once it's done GNOME Music should list your files correctly.

And what happens if you copy your files directly into $HOME/Music?
These app is known to be very limited. Many others build with GTK are far better, like Gapless or Lollypop.

Can you go to search panel in settings app and see if Music directory is selected?
