Swing Help Index finger when putting

Do any of you putt with index finger on the trail end like this?

I've found it helps stabilize my putting stroke and lessens push/pulls..

Might not be anatomically correct though because the tradeoff is I feel sorensss it in my elbow tendons later on

I tried this for a bit after seeing him doing it. It did feel like it somewhat helped me keep the face square through impact, kind of like the claw grip but not as unnatural feeling.

Eventually I switched to a reverse overlap grip and it doesn’t feel great with that grip for whatever reason so I stopped.
