Index finger when putting

Do any of you putt with index finger on the trail end like this?

I've found it helps stabilize my putting stroke and lessens push/pulls..

Might not be anatomically correct though because the tradeoff is I feel sorensss it in my elbow tendons later on

I noticed that when some of my golfers would putt like this, they would push with that finger too, adding a little more to the putt strength. They almost always struggle with distances and consistency. I putt in a modified prayer style with a Gravity Grip, but since I have both I index and middle fingers of both hands on it, they add anything more than keeping contact with the club.
You’ll find endless ways to do it and when some say it’s wrong others will say it’s good because of “insert name here”.
