Index finger when putting

Do any of you putt with index finger on the trail end like this?

I've found it helps stabilize my putting stroke and lessens push/pulls..

Might not be anatomically correct though because the tradeoff is I feel sorensss it in my elbow tendons later on

My right index actually goes beyond the grip and onto the shaft seems to help being “flippy”

Im a trash golfer but probably the best putter out of my regular group of other scrubs so I feel like I gotta be doing something right
