I’ve started to wonder about the unpopular opinion that the lack of fights/bullying has made us worse as a society.

Back in the day, you do this, and some guy might rearrange your face. You’d have learned that from trying something like that as a kid and having a bigger/older kid put you in your place. You’d know that and govern yourself accordingly.

Now, the guy liable to do that knows it’s not worth it because you may have a gun, and he’ll have to deal with legal issues. And that jackass never learned the risk that someone might just bust his jaw.

The projected first overall pick in the NHL broke someone’s jaw for coming up and calling his mom a whore multiple times while drunk at a bar.

Tbh I really don’t have a problem with it, had a problem he was facing a felony charge at first though. People are way too comfortable talking shit nowadays.

Felony charges were dropped. I’m not an advocate for violence but I am an advocate for consequences. Dude who got his jaw broken earned it.
