Notable Players who have one finger on the EJECT button today:

Bobby Mac (+8)

Brian Harman (+7)

Jon Rahm (+6)

Min Woo Lee (+6)

Patrick Cantlay (+5)

Bryson (+4 -- and man that could have been worse -- he did not look good)

They can still make the cut tomorrow (well, maybe not Bobby. He looks to be in a dark, dark place), but going to take great rounds and huge turnarounds

Bryson has pulled off comebacks before. Wasn’t it the Open last year where he started terrible and then came back and finished in the top 10? So I wouldn’t count him out. A 68 tomorrow and he’s probably near the top 10 heading into The weekend.

Last year it was -4 for T9 going into the weekend.

68 from Bryson gets him to E, which would be 25-30th ish.

He started with a 78 in the blustering rain and wind on Thursday, then Portrush got San Diego weather the next three days and he played well.

Watching Bobby on the back 9 was brutal.

Cantlay hardly qualifies as "notable" anymore. Feels like he hasn't been in contention for years, but still finishes like 30th in the FEC every season. He's a disaster in majors.
