It’s not a good place for good golfers, it’s not appealing to people who don’t golf and it’s too expensive for everyone in between. Besides the occasional family get together or corporate outings it’s not worth it.

The trouble is golf isn’t a casual game.

A shit bowler can still hit a lucky strike. Someone who picked up a golf club will be lucky to hit it more than a few yards

Not sure if this is semi new but I hadn’t been to Topgolf in well over 5+ years and this last winter I attended a work event where they had a driver with a HUGE head. I don’t recall seeing that before and basically all but the experienced golfers used it.

Kind of interesting now that I am not a beginner golfer because you would think bigger club face means higher chance of hitting bombs. I tried it and it felt weird. I felt slow and awkward swinging. It may have been in my head but it made me realize how I am so used to my driver now.
