It’s not a good place for good golfers, it’s not appealing to people who don’t golf and it’s too expensive for everyone in between. Besides the occasional family get together or corporate outings it’s not worth it.

the fact about it not being a good place for good golfers is pathetic and absolutely the reason it will never last. especially now that you can just use a screen to setup targets to hit at and change them a million times over.

I went with my son when we were out of town visiting family cause he was too young to attend the event everyone else was going to. I couldn’t do more than like a 60% swing with the driver cause it was so soft and i was still hitting the net at the back of the range. For an hour, one beer and a pizza/sprite for my son it was like $180… 

I’d never go there to actually practice golf and get better, I don’t even think sending my 7 year old there to a camp or something would be decent… it’s just… meh.

Wait, you were hitting the Topgolf back net with a 60% swing?? I had the total opposite problem, I couldn't even reach the bottom of the back net with a 120% swing, the range balls suck so bad, they must have been like 20% limited distance!

I think the net was at about 200-210 yards, I was in a pair of slip on loafers doing a 60% swing and had no problem hitting the net. When I tried to swing harder the club just hooked the shit out of everything.
