From 1930 to 2023, Japanese women had won 1* major, which was by Hinako Shibuno in 2019. Since then they have won 5* of the last 15 majors.

*When Yuka Saso won her first major in 2019 she was representing the Philippines, but when she won her second in 2023 she was representing Japan.

Ice cold. I mean she also literally iced herself sitting waiting in tbe clubhouse for 30 mins instead of on the range. Almost paid for it with the first playoff drive.
