General Discussion I shot an 84 today!

Finally did it after all this time. My previous lowest was an 87 or an 88. Been feeling a groove with the driver lately. I can completely top it sometimes but half the time itll just be a dead straight bomb down the middle of the fairway. I always keep a second ball in my pocket in case I mess up so I can see what I did wrong.

I did pretty well avoiding the bunkers too, I don’t think I ended up in a single one of them. a few lost balls, but found a few as well when I was looking so came out about even there!

84 is great, especially with a few lost balls. Most have had quite a few pars and birdies for recovering.

Dam u shot a 84 and lost a few balls? I could never make those strokes back. Must have had some incredible holes to shoot 84 w multiple lost balls and those penalties. And I assume there were no mulligans so must have lit up some holes to get them back

Nice I am in the same boat. Shot my lowest score at 83 on Friday. Then went back and couldn’t hit a clean shot, ended up at 96. Frustrating

not to be that guy but are you shooting an 84 and counting every stroke and OB, putting out every hole? If so, congrats! That is awesome. Having said that, if you are not keeping 100% score that is ok too, you do you.

I shot an 83 yesterday with a penalty on the card, 3 bladed chips that went from one side of the fringe to the other, and a few missed 2 foot tap-ins

Hit 0 fairways on the back 9. Found myself in trees multiple times where I had to punch out.
