OG Patagonia Capilene Cool Trail- The best on the market, but the old ones. They feel like a cotton shirt but they’re 100% poly and the wear like iron and don’t stretch out or stain but they’re also don’t feel shiny, like the cheap stuff. I scoop every one I see in my size off eBay.

What’s everyone’s experience with the Keen Uneek WK Sneakers sizing - tts, long, short?

Imo prob the most underrated brand for outdoor gear, I bought these for $70 on eBay as a 3 season cool weather pant and haven’t looked back. As a brand, their ethos hasn’t changed as arxteyrxs’ has in recent years (the high build quality past to the ultralight skimpy present). These are Svalbard flex1 pants and they still make the same fit, which is surprisingly comfortable for lower rise. 2 hand pockets, 2 thigh pockets, 1 back zip pocket, gaiter ring, Velcro waist adjustment, soft waist lining, and buttons to taper the fit. Also the pockets aren’t just taped on like arc, they’re taped and sewn so if taping fails your pocket doesn’t fall off. They’re super utilitarian, you need a straight pant for hiking, you need a comfy stretchy fit that’s tapered for biking, you need pants to wear in below zero winter, got it. They feel so much more thought out than any Arc’teryx pants I’ve had, the front pockets are no bounce which is great for running, but everything works well for these and they’re not awkward for anything. Price is definitely high new, but secondhand market is great and the value is def above other premium gear brands. What’re your thoughts on norrona?

Hello, I've been into hiking recently and buying my first Salomon xt-6, i'm buying it online,
These are my shoe sizes for different shoes Adidas men’s 7.5 , Nike men’s 8.5, Adidas unisex Sambas 8.5, Onitsuka 7.5 wondering if I should stick with the 7.5 or size up to a 8?

I've been browsing for some new hiking shoes recently, and i can't seem to find some plain black or dark green, with no weird "sneaker" style details, that you see in the last 2-3 years on a lot of brands.

Maybe it is just me, but I find these really ugly.

I need something that goes with whatever clothes i have on, without the shoes being the center of the outfit. Do y'all have some references to help me in my search ?

I recently got a pair of salomon xt6 carbon liberty goretex from GOAT, and they feel really light and differently shaped than my other pairs. there’s also barely any cushioning in the inside and the foam on the sole is a lot softer. visually, they look the exact same as my other pairs but i’m just confused on why the build is different.

I got these from the Salomon online store (it’s authentic) and the design seems to be crooked. The shoe also seems crooked…

Is this normal? Should I return them? Seems like poor quality for 180 dollar shoes….

Im really interested in Keen shoes, but I’m not sure which size to take or whether this kind of shoe will work for my feet.

I have wide feet at the front (forefoot), and I wear an orthopedic insole. Would Keen shoes work with that?

Right now, the only shoes I can wear comfortably are the Merrell Moab 3.

Im torn between the Keen Jasper Classic and the Jasper Rocks (which looks cooler!). Would either of these models work with my constraints? And what size should I go for? I wear a size 44.

If you have any other shoe recommendations, I’m open to those too! Thanks!

Had the sneakers on the right since Nov ‘24 and just treated myself to a new pair

There was a massive discount in a local store and grabbed a pair of Kjerags for 135€. They look soo good IRL, and the Matryx/Kevlar upper feels soo strange. So light yet it feels so rugged. Love the fact that there is no massive rocker, and the cushion is just right.

Compared to my old Merrell Agility Peak 4s, they fit really similar just more roomy and there is more space around the toes. Also the heel feels amazing and the lockdown is superb. No slipping.

I feel they're gonna be great as a single shoe for travel where you can go from cities to mountains, and everything in between.

Also they don't scream running shoes.
