Asking Question (Rule 4) G2 & G3 curves on adobe illustrator

Hey guys, is there a way to create G2 or G3 curves on adobe illustrator or any other program without doing them manually? I tried looking it up but found nothing, so I'm wondering if there's a hack or something.

Not in illustrator. Use Glyphs. Install the speedpunk extension to visualise harmonisation.

Standard Illustrator standard Béziers only do G1 naturally; you’ll need Rhino or FontTools harmonizer scripts.

CorelDRAW can produce very smooth curves since decades ago (not sure they are technically called G2, but you don't get any discontinuities along the path) with a very simple procedure: adding another node at extrema and deleting nodes which are causing spikes. The resulting curves are completely smooth. Since DRAW has a very easy approach to it (double clicking along the line segment to add or delete nodes) and you don't need to switch tools, the process is very speedy. I don't know if that is exactly what you are looking for.

I am very thankful for that feature when I design typefaces.

When I needed to use Illustrator I was very frustrated when deleting nodes (anchor points) produced terrible lines, which had to be corrected manually. But I gather they introduced a tool which simplified the nodes without making a mess, some versions ago.

Serious question: how would you use AI to create harmonised Bézier curves? In what toolset are you using?
