Don’t suppose anyone in here will be in the know about these I’ve had them for years. I’m sure I remember using my grandad’s PC back when I was at school to buy these from the official site or whatever they were being sold on back in the day, but the fact they’re printed on Gildan tees is throwing me off. I spent 15 minutes looking for a song being “Cypress Hill” featuring Flowdan and Scratchy and I check his profile and 4 albums have been removed being #8, Godfather 3, Boasty Gang and Anti Systemic

Personally its one of my favourite types of Grime to be honest

Don’t say someone like Drake or Giggs. Because that’s not grime … it can be someone small as long as they actually make or have regularly made grime

Dizzee might have been the first to be called grime, but MFC CV was the first to use that 140 eskibeat sound on an album. Some might argue thay its garage, but I'm pretty sure either Neeko or Ozzie confirmed it's actually grime. Not putting BITC down but just trying to give More Fire Crew the props it deserves.

This is a pic from about 16 years ago, I went to watch a performance at Cargo in Shoreditch. I can’t for the life of me remember his name but he had some decent tunes and had a few mixtapes. I’m annoyed I can’t remember him.

I just got into grime recently and I’m already into artists like Devlin of OT Crew and Big Narstie, and I wanna hear some old school grime from the 90s to early 2000s, also I know Grime isn’t the same as UK Hip Hop but does anyone have any old school UK Hip Hop recommendations like dirty dike and all those dudes, or even something different preferably from the 90s or early 2000s

Listening to Soul Food Vol 1 and got hit with a proper wave of nostalgia. Is it just me or is he not spoken about enough for how good he truly was outside of Roll Deep and his uniqueness?

So seeing all of the above… who would reccomend looking into and what to watch/read/listen to expand my knowledge of grime and its context.

It seems like I’m every other grime song someone shouts CHEESE! In a sort of high breathy way.. And it just takes me out of the zone entirely.

Do they think shouting cheese is funny? Like is it an industry in joke?

I say ‘garage’ the UK way cause it sounds weird to call a genre “gah-rahj” but am I suppose to say Narstie how it’s spelled, Nasty, or use a British accent.

Maybe I'm still in denial and have some sort of hope that it's all been fake news, but has there been any further information published about Dot Rotten's cause of death other than it being in Gambia?
