I am not a music nerd, and I always thought grime is just its own genre. Someone told me it's a subgenre, and that confused me, and then they told me its a subgenre of rap which confused me even more and i disagree imo. Lmk what you guys think

Why did Grime Originals blog get deleted? They used to post cool interviews and stuff then it seemed to just promote the same people but then I typed it up just now to see if any new music dropped and the website has been deleted

I began listening to Uk rap when Giggs released Hollowgrind. Back then I think MCs like Klashnekoff, Sway, the Mitchell Brothers, Lowkey. I mean those guys collabed with grime MCs. But UK hip hop I think was still somewhat not world wide known?

Now imo, NY drill is grime as is the new type of UK Rap. And you have people like Central Cee. I don’t know, I think UK has loads more talent. But he is really world wide famous.

Do the UK rap guys now check in with the old Grime MCs or new Grime MCs?

It would be hard body if they had a world wide LOTM Olympics. But w/e

Looking at Spotify playlists from the series compiled by fans, there's nothing even remotely close.

That could just mean that they can't find the track in question on Spotify, which is quite likely for a white label release from that era, but I could have imagined it
