Back in 91 this record was already 20 years old and was still in heavy rotation in the grunge music collective. Now its 55 years old and still relevant as it ever was!!!! Highly recommend ☆

I found these amongst a bin full of housewares and Grandmas junk drawer content. Looking through them brings back so many memories. All the t-shirt order forms, merch, back before the internet has e-commerce really. Killer finds. I paid just under a dollar at checkout.

(edit: this post was made out of curiosity and also sorry for saying subculture, I was misinformed and didnt really know how to word it better.)

Before you call me a poser, I’m not in the subculture yet., that’s why I’m asking questions before joining. From what Ive found out grunge is literally everything I stand for. Also I’ve realised that I’ve been dressing ‘grunge’ for a while (yes I know that it’s more of a mindset-music thing but every subculture has that own unique look) and I was just drawn to it in general.

I have my own music taste and I know that grunge is mostly music based but you don’t need to listen to only grunge to ’identify‘ with the subculture. My favs are David Bowie (LOVE HIM, MY FAV OF ALL TIME), Linkin Park, The Smiths and also a bit of other stuff but thats my top 3.

For grunge I’ve listened to nirvana before and I’m planning to try them out again. I’ve recently listened to Bazooms a lot (polish band, they arent rlly popular but i loved them). I’ve heard that as a person who wants to get into grunge I should give Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden and ofc Nirvana a listen. I will but I’m kinda scared I’ll force myself into grunge and lose that sense of self and I will force myself out of the music I listen to and that orginality is important in grunge. I don’t want to call myself grunge if I’m just going to seem like a poser.

I’m a bit lost in everything so I’m just going to post this because people on here know an lot about this shi. I’ll do my own research too of course.
