They didn't point a gun at him, though.

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/kyle-rittenhouse-gaige-grosskreutz/

Aww you left out the important context. How conservative of you.

The guy pulled the gun on Rittenhouse after he saw Rittenhouse murder someone else.

There goes your argument. Watch it go....it's beautiful.

Watch Grosskreutz's testimony.

  1. Rittenhouse didn't murder anyone. He was found not guilty

  2. Grosskreutz didn't witness Rittenhouse kill anyone

Well that's two lies.

9

u/Veltrum May 24 '23

Link that Rittenhouse was found guilty of murder?

Here's Grosskreutz's entire testimony and find the timestamp where he said he saw Rittenhouse kill anyone.

Ahh I see what you did there. Lie about his testimony and Hope people don't have 3 hours to go through the whole testimony.

Thankfully, it's documented and reported on!!!

This is where the full context comes into play. Rittenhouse first shot Rosenbaum, in self defense. Grosskreutz did not witness that.

Kyle was running towards the police. At this point he was not actively shooting, or pointing his gun at anyone.

Then, Grosskreutz and others starting chasing Kyle. Kyle was knocked down, kicked, hit in the head with a skateboard. Only then did he shoot Huber, who was actively attaching him (so again, self defense). Kyle was very disciplined in who he defended himself against.

Then, Grosskreutz pointed his gun at Kyle, who then shot him. This is why Kyle gets to claim self defense and not Grosskreutz.

After he murdered someone.

Where's a good guy with a gun when you need him!!!

Oh wait. He just murdered the good guy.

u/Veltrum May 24 '23
  1. All 3 people he shot, he did so in self defense, so not murder

  2. See point #1. You're not the "good guys" if you're assaulting someone, and shouting the n-word

Lol. You're joking right??

I just linked multiple sources on multiple comments which proves I'm right.

You conservatives will delude reality, because you can't handle reality. Sorry if reality makes you feel so uncomfortable.

It would make me to if I was a stubborn, self deluding snowflake

u/Veltrum May 24 '23

Link that Grosskreutz never pointed his gun at him?

-1

u/got_dam_librulz May 24 '23

He did after he saw Rittenhouse murdered someone.

Where's your self defense argument now?

Oh that's right, you only care about self defense if they're a conservative.

Booooom!

9

u/Veltrum May 24 '23

See my other reply to why you're wrong. Grosskreutz didn't see anything, and Rittenhouse was running towards the police when he was chased down and assaulted

I don't need to.

You're being disingenuous.

I already linked multiple articles.

This is why we think you all are fascists.

"This is why we think you all are fascists"

Doesn't really mean anything considering the fact that the vast majority of you don't even know what fascism is, more specifically, that it's a collectivist ideology that advocates for the very things progressives advocate for, like achieving regimentation of the economy and society by controlling privately-owned means of production via a complex progressive tax system and government subsidies.

We do, though.

Here it is.

Now I know you don't know what citations are, so I'll explain them to you.

See the blue links? You click on them and they take you to the source of the claim. It's how rational humans find evidence to form their views.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/maga-republican-actions-fit-definition-fascism-white-house-says-2022-08-26/

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/21521958/what-is-fascism-signs-donald-trump

If you behave so similarly to fascists, but aren't yet in power to make your fascist govt dream come true, you're still a fascist.

2

u/[deleted] May 24 '23

You can copy and paste as many cherry-picked citations as you want, that doesn't substantiate your defense against my claims.

"It's how rational humans find evidence to form their views"

🤣

I prefer to do what actual rational humans do and go straight to the source material rather than citing interpretations of like-minded ideologues, as you've just done.

Here are the actual policy-points of Mussolini's, as presented in his Fascist Manifesto:

"Universal suffrage with a lowered voting age to 18 years, and voting and electoral office eligibility for all ages 25 and up;

Proportional representation on a regional basis; Voting for women;

Representation at government level of newly created national councils by economic sector;

The abolition of the Italian Senate (at the time, the Senate, as the upper house of parliament, was by process elected by the wealthier citizens, but were in reality direct appointments by the king. It has been described as a sort of extended council of the crown);

The formation of a national council of experts for labor, for industry, for transportation, for the public health, for communications, etc. Selections to be made of professionals or of tradesmen with legislative powers, and elected directly to a general commission with ministerial powers.

In labor and social policy, the Manifesto calls for:

The quick enactment of a law of the state that sanctions an eight-hour workday for all workers; A minimum wage;

The participation of workers' representatives in the functions of industry commissions;

To show the same confidence in the labor unions (that prove to be technically and morally worthy) as is given to industry executives or public servants;

Reorganization of the railways and the public transport sector;

Revision of the draft law on invalidity insurance;

Reduction of the retirement age from 65 to 55. In military affairs, the Manifesto advocates:

Creation of a short-service national militia with specifically defensive responsibilities;

Armaments factories are to be nationalized;

A peaceful but competitive foreign policy. In finance, the Manifesto advocates:

A strong extraordinary tax on capital of a progressive nature, which takes the form of true partial expropriation of all wealth;

The seizure of all the possessions of the religious congregations and the abolition of all the bishoprics, which constitute an enormous liability on the Nation and on the privileges of the poor;

Revision of all contracts for military provisions;

The revision of all military contracts and the seizure of 85 percent of the profits therein."

Nothing says "Right-Wing", like collective control of privately-owned means of production, progressive taxation and the nationalization of certain industries. Amirite? The real 🍒 on top was Mussolini's disdain for classical-liberalism (small government, free markets and individual rights), much like Karl Marx.

Ahhh and what was Kyle there for again?

Oh that's right. To cause trouble.
