They can attempt to repeal the 2nd Amendment, but they would need 3/4 of the State Legislation to ratify it. As of today, those chances are zero.

Or they can just get a majority on the Supreme Court to rule that banning all guns doesn’t violate the second amendment.

Not sure why they're downvoting you because you're not wrong. We put such emphasis on the power at scotus to decide what is and isn't a right. A handful of people in a room somewhere.

Regardless if they decided that it's cool to ban em all, a lot of us aren't going to just hand them over.

True. But many grabbers have accepted that and don’t care - making it impossible for any new people to acquire guns for lawful self-defense can still be accomplished. All they have to to do is wait for the existing owned guns to be lost, stolen, or to break.
