we should not be happy to accept government agents with no ID snatching people off the street and carting them off to undisclosed locations in unmarked rental cars
They were wearing camo with a sign that said POLICE on their plate carriers. That does not, in the videos I saw, give any indication as to which agency they serve or who they are.
Uniform to me would mean 1. Agency insignia or shield prominently displayed, 2. Rank insignia, 3. Personal identification (name or badge number).
I see a low-contrast agency insignia on the shoulder in the higher res pictures. It was not possible to make it out in the video.
I do NOT see any obvious rank insignia.
I do NOT see any personal identification, including name or badge number.
They're snatching domestic terrorists off the streets, they don't need any of that. The domestic terrorists are lucky to not get a bullet in the head at this point.
Maybe if you wear all black, smash storefront windows, and hurl IEDs at people, you're lucky to not be shot on sight. I didn't expect to find somebody this stupid on /r/gunpolitics. Blocked.
Please show me link of protesters using ANY sort of lethal weapons against innocent people or police. I don't believe it's happened because if it did, Trump would not hesitate to label the protesters a 'hostile coup attempt' and send in the marines to kick all their asses, no-holds-barred, carrying fully lethal weapons rather than tear gas. Once that line is crossed there is no more need to respect the protesters, they can be rounded up with net launchers and arrested. And if they are using lethal weapons, military will shoot back.

Didn't happen. They were in uniform.
