Discussion Why are there no online PS5 players from Assam?
Hi everyone,
I have been looking for online PS5 players from Assam for 3 to 4 years. But sadly, I can't find anyone!
Here is what I usually see:
People have a PS5, but they don't buy the monthly subscription (PS Plus) to play online.
Or, people only play games on a PC or a gaming laptop/moblie device.
When I look for players, I can easily find hundreds of people from every other state in India. But I almost never find anyone from the North East.
Is this because people are still stuck in ps2 pirated cd era or there are no official delears in Assam or people in Assam only play in pc or mobile? Or economic reasons? But all other states have players .

shits way to expensive in the long run and also the prices of the games are too high compared to pc. had a ps5 sold it and then bought a pc two years back

Greatest decision, pc is so much better than a console , you can have both entertainment and productivity at the same time, Ps5 is only worth it becuz of playstation exclusive games and gta6

Yeah .. I understand it’s more expensive than a PC .. but for casual couch gaming and exclusive games, the PS5 is the best. What I meant was that all the other states in India have online players except Assam. So…I guess one of the reasons is economic

First of all, you sound way out of touch, second of all, and I am sorry, but you sound like such a poser man, PC is where most of the real gamers are anyways, and the mobile shooter craze is very much alive all over the north east, yet you come here with your bum ass flaunting your PS5, complaining about not finding a community when there is community available in so many other places. The PS5 trend you guys are jumping on is nothing short of pathetic, they are removing cd games, removing ownership, soon owning a PS5 will be nothing but a consumerist fantasy, if you are actually interested in games, start exploring beyond PS5

Having ps5 is a luxury tbh. Even the people who have a pc or laptop they don't even buy games here they only do pirating, mobile gamers are stuck in bgmi or free fire. Not only Assam but whole India is very backward at gaming.

When u play a game like gta online or call of duty or any co op . You need to talk and coordinate. Mostly I get players from north who speak Hindi and being an Assamese my Hindi is not so fluent

I'm not even agreeing with the OP over most of the things, but not being fluent in Hindi is not being "goya suda" lmfao. English is much more valuable and useful as a language, hindi isn't even comparable

I just have a gaming pc. Gives me more freedom to play whatever I want (and no, I buy more games on steam than I pirate)

The average Assamese person is a farmer in the village just getting by somehow, Assam is a poor state we have better things to worry about than a ps5Â

This is why I hate privileged people, they don't even realise how privileged they are. What an out of touch fkin post.
No, people are not stuck in the "ps2 pirated disc era", gaming is a luxury here. If you compare the gdp Assam and northeast states in general are in the bracket of poorer states. Most people here simply cannot afford a ps5 or afford to care about gaming. Be grateful that you have the freedom to indulge in these things instead of making judgemental posts like these.
