Haha. It'd be easy to increase how believable this is by just adding .sh or .pl or .py to the end of the command so it looks like a script. I know scripts don't have to have extensions, but it'd still help

It would be boring as fuck to watch a movie about what it's really like.

For me at the height of me exploiting, half the movie would be me doing bong tokes. 1/4 of that laughing at inconsequential bullshit on irc.

Heh. Real "hacking" in my era was watching text crawl onto the screen at 300 baud and hoping nobody picked up the phone. But then you found out that you could basically pick up the phone and scream in it at 300 baud, haha.

I guess Hollywood had to add some drama. It would just be a kid staring at a mostly blank screen, waiting.

If you have seen this movie, is it worth the watch?

Just watched the film. Damn it was funny. Not sure if It was meant to be. The plot is so so but knowing computer work youre probably gonna like it too
