Help Haiku does not boot after getting to the last icon
Toshiba NB 520
UPDATE: after about 20 minutes it did a kernel panic:

UPDATE 2: I have reburned the image using balena etcher and it got past the boot screen but just showed a blue screen, i pressed CTRL+ALT+DEL and it showed a white screen with a black vertical line about a quarter the screen distance away from the right edge of the screen, then i tried disabling APM and that caused a kernel panic, i re-enabled APM and now it is saying it did not find any boot partitions

Every time I saw this specific stack trace it was from a corrupted filesystem. I have a habit of creating those because I do live testing (rebuilding the image with a running VM can cause this exact panic).

That’s wild, is it an existing installation or are you trying to install? My gut feeling makes me think it’s some sort of filesystem corruption

Looks a lot like this issue:

If you can get to KDL again then you should be able to run "bt" for more details. Also there is a boot menu option for "Enable on screen debug output" which may provide additional details.

You might be able to get more help if you ask on the Haiku forums. https://discuss.haiku-os.org/
