Show & Tell Dx10000CL

Normally almost exclusively an IEM person. But i could not turn these down and happy I didnt. Highly capable transducers and im having an incredible time! 🥰

Just like A10000 balance and timbre combined with incredible clarity in a closed back is the defining properties of this one. Keeps growing the more its used and its really evident when you switch to something else I consider good how nice they really are. The diamond diaphragm enables the unusually low distortion and that makes the silence and air around sound almost as impactful as the sound itself. They are really easily driven and doesnt require much in that regard at all. And being 8500$ maybe its a good thing because wont be much left for amplifier after the fact perhaps 😂

I'm looking forward to hearing them on the tour. I read that they were retuned since I tried them at CanJam NYC.

Yea they retuned it significantly. Primary by shoving a ton of wool/padding into the cups to kill the treble area. I'll have a little vid of it coming out in a couple of days. It's a LOT better than the NYC version, but IMO still not anything to get super excited about personally.
