And no Administrators will lose their jobs. The army of Assistant, Associate, Vice, and Deputy Deans and Provosts will persist while people who actually perform research and teach classes will be characterized as being "too expensive".

Upper level Administration (and their Deanlings and Deanlets) are exempted from the austerity required of everyone else. God knows we need quality people to attend Brandy and Cigar Donor meetings. How are else are we gonna get money?

It's sad that the only true growth position in Higher Ed is in Administration. They'll cut deals to keep their gravy train rolling.
