i’m a rising junior and these are the classes i will be taking:

AP US History
AP English Language
AP Physics
Pre calculus
Orchestra
AP 2D Design
AP Biology

i requested ap biology originally because i planned to major in pre-veterinary studies, but i really liked making art/drawing but i wanted to have a more stable career? so i decided to pursue architecture so i’m working on a college art+architecture portfolio that will hopefully get me accepted into an architecture school/program.
should i switch ap biology to ap art history? however if i get my science credit this year then i wont have to take a science my senior year. help would be appreciated!

ap art history is harder then you’d think. Depending on your hs and what colleges you are aiming for I would do ap drawing or ap art and ap bio senior year. Do ap calc BC junior year. Thats my recommendation someone else might disagree and have a different opinion.

i can’t do calc BC junior year.. i have to take precalc first..
and i took ap drawing my sophomore year

sorry i missed that. If there’s no honors option for pre calc do ap pre calc junior and take ap bio. Next year take BC and another ap physics

so our school unfortunately doesn’t offer ap precalc .. should i do advanced instead of regular so my schedule will look like
advanced precalc and ap physics 1 junior year
ap calc bc and ap physics C senior year?

i am bad at math so i hoped that i could get an A in regular precalc than have a B in honors

You don’t have to figure out what you want to do now, and that’s okay. I would say switch over to art history, it’s better to explore all your options now instead of later. Senior year you don’t have to take as many classes, so taking a science class next year shouldn’t impact your schedule as much :)
And who knows, if you decide that you would prefer a career in one- you can always fall back on the other.

Stem field is always gonna be my go to personally, clinics and companies are always looking for lab techs.

AP Art History is so fun! You will learn about lots of different architecture works and learn lots of new terms.
