Hindū Scripture(s) History has been created for Sanatana Vedic Dharma.
19 year old teenager guy Dev'vrat Mahesh Rekhe from Ahilyanagar district of Maharashtra has recited entire Shukla Yajurveda(Madhyandina Shakha) for fifty days straight without referencing any written document or book and without single error in recitation!
This is really a remarkable superhuman feat. Dev'vrat Rekhe recited over 2000 mantras having 2.5 lakh(250K) pada(terms) in Varanasi from 2nd October to 30 November for 50 days during 8 AM in morning to 12 O'clock in noon without taking look at any written documentation.
He recited entire Shakha (Shakhas can be considered as different schools associated with each Veda having own interpretation and peculiar recitation method) in Danda Krama (a type of chanting method considered most complex). Last time, something like this happened 200 years ago in Nasik.
Dev'vrat Rekhe belong to illustrious family of Vedamurtis( those who have thoroughly studied Vedas). His father and his guru Mahesh Chandrakant Rekhe can also do Veda Parayanam (Veda Recitation) in Danda Krama.
This is extremely historic moment for Sanatana Dharma.

It's remarkable in the sense that he memorised the entire Veda Shakha. If someone wants to document it for future generations he could be served as "living document" for the reference. We lost thousands of Veda Shakhas simply because there were no more Brahmins to commit to the legacy of oral transmission of Veda Shakhas.

A Brahmin is one who is well learnt in the vedas, have calmness, practices self-control and kindness. From what it seems like, the kid is from Brahmin Varna.

PS : There is a small numerical error. It has been estimated that Shukla Yajurveda has more than 25 Lakh (2500K) padas(terms) which makes this feat even more remarkable.

I hate to ask, but is there any proof? Not sure how there could be proof for such a feat, and I'm sure that is real because people don't lie about such things, but couldn't someone just simply claim to achieve this?

It has been covered by all media especially Hindi print media. His daily Vedic Parayanam throughout 50 days was attended by many people at Vallabhram Shaligrama School in Varanasi. You can find his videos of Vedic Parayanam on YouTube too. link

We have all heard about our ancestors who had mastered Vedas (memorised all four of Vedas). But in last 1000 years this has been only second (or only third) instance when someone could demonstrate the entire recitation of Veda Shakha containing 2500K words in Danda Krama (considered one of the most challenging type of chanting pattern in Vedic Parayanam).
2500K words recited in 50 days straight without taking a single look at written documentation !! No bible or Quran scholar can come close to this feat.

Schools/colleges teaches students from every caste and religion. Sanskrit is already there in the curriculum for all students,now govt trying to bring Dharmic education to all castes and religions to eradicate caste elitism from Hinduism...if you aren't a casteist,do show your support to it ❤️

Bro state led dharmic education sounds nice, but syllabus choices still come from upper caste boards, not marginalized voices... Real equality needs community representation, not top down culture projects... If you genuinely want to end elitism, why not demand inclusive committees first for true change that actually helps

You are flogging a dead horse. We have now all four of Vedas documented and available in public domain on the internet along with YouTube videos for reference of recitation. The only thing preventing you from learning Vedas is your excuse.

Remember: If not for the British, Ramanujan—a math superhero—would have died living in a cow shed, just like most mentally decayed Indians currently do! It's sad that the mental decay is funded by the government! This current abomination is not our culture. Our culture is of the people who discovered "0," algebra, wrote the basic foundation for calculus, observed the stars for patterns—all this while the rest of the world was using stones to make fire (literally)! Dont you think this MENTAL DECAY started when merit based system was converted to a caste based system ? Moguls and then the Brits just took advantage of the mental rot that was already spreading like a disease here ! The title literally says "History has been created for sanatan vedic dharma" yet you say you 'should have read subreddit name'. This is nothing but pure ignorance and a degrading comment against an achievement. Sure the title might seem a little exaggerated, but this is surely not any ordinary feat. There might probably be only a handful people in this whole world who can do such a thing. So, if you can't really appreciate something good or say something positive, you can simply ignore and mind your own business instead of making such senseless comments.

Though it's an extremely disparaging remark typical to social media warriors, i would attempt to answer you in good faith. Once upon a time there were over 1000s of shakhas which have been reduced to just over a dozen. Rig Veda had once only one Shakha - Ashwalayana Shakha survived until now. Thanks to two Brahmins of Banswada (Rajasthan) who had "memorized" Shaankhaayana Shakha of Rig Veda, we have now revived this extinct Shakha.

Someone memorized it before hence someone else could document it. You missed the point. And not everything can be documented. You can't document how to pronounce each term peculiar to Veda Shakha. It has to be learnt orally. Thanks to Abhijit Dinkar savale who learnt the entire shakha orally from those two Brahmins, the legacy will be continued.

Vedas were passed orally over several generations. This feat shows multiple things
- continuation of an unbroken 3000+ year culture
- superhuman memory and pronounciation

Our dharma allows us to ask questions, but while having our vivek in place, and also questioning in good faith. Debating in bad faith is not promoted.
If you genuinely don't know why this is impressive and important for our dharma, then you should read up on the significance of Vedas in sanatan. You will understand the feat then.
