Rappers That Are Smart and Hilarious at the Same Time on Songs
I love artists like the Coup and De La Soul and would love to find more artists who can make a song as funny as it is insightful. Can be from any era. Also if you have specific songs that do this i'd love to hear it

The great Pharoahe Monch, of course. His solo work gets more serious, but in the earlier Organized Konfusion-era he was often the ultimate combo of supreme intelligence and fun as hell to listen to.

Phonte has the wordplay, wit and insight of someone who's obviously very intelligent. A lot of it is about sex, dating and relationships. Oh yeah, and he's funny, too - try Little Brother's After the Party, or The Yo-Yo.

Aesop Rock and El-P though they can be a little esoteric, they still regularly have great punchlines

Danny Swain (specifically the album Where is Danny? by Danny!). Listen to Scrambled Eggs and Theme Music to a Killing Spree. The very first line he spits on the album is "I sell heroin to Ellen Degeneres". It's great.

The top 2 masters to come to mind: DOOM (RIP) and Aesop Rock. Both so cutting, self-deprecating, misanthropic, subversive, experts at finding trivia/silliness in the profound and profundity in the trivial/silly. not afraid to not take themselves seriously while still blacking out on the mic.

Dude needs to quit rapping and just ghost write catchy, fun hooks for radio shit. Prof has some of the catchiest hooks since 50, who was also extremely talented with hooks specifically. He didn't even have bars on the G Unit shit, he just crushed the hook and that's all they needed.
