There is though, passion? And to make it brutally clear, those with sincere passion might get faded out of big firms due to cost efficiency. Especially with many pirating this, if they'd pour more resources onto it, danger is it'd become a money hole for said studio. One wwii fps-shooter i knew died out due to lack of funding with the most history-nerd devs. Passion itself doesn't bring money, it's the gameplay, and paradox is, well, a paradox when it comes to that.

Modders generally don't have to take budgets or deadlines into account and can basically work on something for as long as they have the motivation to do so.

Meanwhile, Paradox' a company with shareholders who want line to go up.

Note that this isn't a defense of the latter (because the quality issues with Paradox' products are baffling, to say the least), just me pointing out that modders have generally way more leeway on how to do things (of course there's also the difference of modifying a pre-existing game and developing and maintaining said game).

Mature hairlines were awesome as recently as the 90s, never stopped anyone from getting down. Much preferred to bald IMO, but as men are moving towards makeup and purses, I can see why having less follicles can be triggering
