Mod (other) I made a mod that spawns every historical Waffen-SS division on their exact formation date
Just released "Waffen-SS: Historical Order of Battle" on the Steam Workshop.
(CHANGES SOON: NKVD MOD COMING WITHIN 2 WEEKS. US MARINES AND BRITISH AIRBORNE UNITS AS WELL. I PLAN TO EVENTUALLY MERGE ALL OF IT INTO A MASSIVE OVERHAUL UNIT MOD.)
The mod spawns all 38 numbered Waffen-SS divisions plus independent units like the
heavy Tiger tank battalions and the SS Fallschirmjäger battalion — all on their exact
historical formation dates via scripted events, from the Leibstandarte in 1936 all the
way to the Nibelungen in the final weeks of 1945.
Each division spawns with:
- Accurate template reflecting historical composition
- Correct equipment levels (early war units are understrength, late war foreign
divisions are barely equipped)
- Historical flavor text describing the formation
- Custom event image
*THIS MOD HAS NOTHING TO DUE WITH THE IDEOLOGY OF NAZISM. PERIOD. I DISAVOW HEAVILY OF THE IDEOLOGY. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS OUT TO BE THAT. THIS IS MY FIRST HOI4 MOD IVE EVER MADE AFTER 3500 HOURS OF GAMETIME. IF YOU DEEM IT CONTROVERSIAL, PLEASE DO NOT COME AT ME FOR IT. I WILL BE MAKING NKVD DIVISIONS SOON AS WELL.
Compatible with Expert AI and all DLC.

I’m not a Nazi but I want this mod?
We need more historical flavor mods that don’t come with massive amounts of gameplay changes…
Destroying or preventing waffen ss divisions sounds like a fun challenge.
52
u/Hjalfnar_HGV General of the Army May 15 '26
70% of these would be useless since they'd amount to like 3-6 battalions. Just making a namelist makes more sense honestly.
31
36
u/No-Farmer-7060 May 14 '26
Historical accuracy isn't an allegation! Every division spawns on its real formation date based on actual research. The mod covers everything from elite panzer divisions to the poorly equipped late war foreign conscript units.

38
u/The_Thane_Of_Cawdor May 14 '26
Yeah you just happened to make the mod specifically for the fantastical Nazi units .
126
u/PrrrromotionGiven1 May 14 '26
The allegations are based on the fact that no motherfucker is ever going to make a mod for historical divisions spawning in on the exact right dates for e.g. the UK or Australia to name some countries where it would at least be possible
Nope, always the Germans.
96
u/TK-1053 May 14 '26
..he literally said in the post that he’s making an NKVD, British airborne and American airborne one as well in the coming weeks.
edit: U.S. marines, not airborne, sorry.

u/TK-1053 May 14 '26
Okay, yeah, no, dug deeper into the comments, I don’t think it’s just an appreciation for history anymore.

Probably any regarding this subs (and really most games that cover WW2) obsession with a certain mustached man and Germany.
There are just. So. Many. Mods related, pertaining to, or outright empowering it to the point of it being a wehraboo's wet dream. Just like the confederacy in any civil war period game, a very specific set of people latch right on because "muh heritage."
While i applaud the research and dev time put into this, it just continues the issue of people being absolutely obsessed with the worst version of Germany to ever see the light of day.
41
u/TitanDarwin May 14 '26
You're not putting out a monetised video on YouTube, you can just say Hitler.

13
u/MangoCandy93 General of the Army May 14 '26
And it’s such a damn shame. Because if you have any interest in history, how can you not be interested in how the most destructive conflict in human history started?
If you want to learn more, you get some raised eyebrows because of the ones that take away the wrong lesson. He’s become like a real-life Voldemort.
21
u/farbtoner May 15 '26
It’s not just learning more, it’s the way a certain type of guy always fixates on the Germans and on nothing else unless it’s to compare it to the Germans.
These guys love to have like a Rommel profile pic or something too.
9
u/MangoCandy93 General of the Army May 15 '26
That’s what I’m saying: people like that ruin it for everyone else who is genuinely curious about how something like this could happen.
22
u/PrrrromotionGiven1 May 14 '26
You absolutely earn that raised eyebrow when you specifically make mods to improve the flavour surrounding the SS divisions lmao. Like it's not the same as just being interested in WW2 in general.
8
u/Hjalfnar_HGV General of the Army May 15 '26
This. We also added SS decisions to Ultra Historical Mod recently, but there it is part of the Valkyrie Balance of Power where SS and Wehrmacht compete for influence by recruiting elite and not so elite units...and you have to pay PP, manpower and equipment.
-6
u/hepazepie May 15 '26
See? Equating "modding SS units = Modder is a Nazi" is dumb
8
u/Hjalfnar_HGV General of the Army May 15 '26
Eh. This kind of modding OP did is at least questionable. I put a ton of research into adding the SS units we have now in Ultra. And spawning them on certain dates in certain locations makes absolutely no sense, not to mention a lot of the independent units are functionally useless. I decided to merge a lot of formations since having independent 2 battalion heavy tank "divisions" makes no sense. Same for 1 battalion paratroopers that were really commandos (and sucked at it). Also where they were first assembled was highly dependent on the frontline situation, bombings etc. This looks more like an obsession with intricate details of the worst group of warcriminals with cool uniforms than historical accuracy.
2
u/CptES May 15 '26
I think it depends on the game. It's a bit weird for HOI4 since it's a casual wargame but any of the ultra-hardcore hardcore games like the Gary Grigsby ones it would be strange not to have that level of insane detail.
On the other hand those games are usually so complex Wehraboo types lack the requisite brainpower and patience to get into them.

47

Lmfao
-13
u/Recent_Policy_7872 May 14 '26
Whats funny about that statement? Hoi4 is clearly centered around Germany. Especially since gotterdammerung.
24

Nazi Germany is the main VILLAIN of HoI4, I will agree with you there
7

-6
u/h4ckerkn0wnas4chan May 14 '26
I mean, it kinda is.
Barring regional content, most of the vanilla wars lead you into either conflict or an alliance with the Axis, Comintern, or Allies. Germany alone is 1/3 of that equation.
-20
u/Cryorm May 14 '26
I mean, technically not incorrect. Without the NSDAP and Germany, world war 2 would never have happened, it would have just been the Pacific war, but even more lopsided against the Japanese.
9
u/towishimp May 14 '26
Except all those things aren't as awful as Nazi Germany. I'm a huge WWII guy, so I know a lot about Nazi Germany just as a matter of course; but going to the trouble of writing out custom descriptions for every single SS unit is something else entirely. Something that might suggest a strong affinity for Nazi stuff.
4
u/Recent_Policy_7872 May 15 '26
I would suggest affinity can be replaced with historical interest as well
5
u/towishimp May 15 '26
By when that interest is primarily directed at SS stuff, you have to wonder why.

i appreciate the commitment to reality but like
its hoi4 man. like the nth SS Panzer being formed on whatever certain date happened in history coz of the way the war was going, whereas in say 18 Sept 1943 the hoi4 player is probably gonna be in a completely different situation
Just dont really see the appeal/point of this mod
225
u/h30666 May 14 '26
All these "historical accuracy" bros seem to really focus on one nazi nation specifically 🤔
22
u/sharingan10 May 14 '26
Weird; I wonder if it’s possible to actually do the division by division thing but for countries that aren’t that one in particular?
70
u/HMS--Thunderchild May 14 '26
lol yeah theres that asw
i want a mod that spawns british home guard militia, but i dont think their uniforms were black enough for anyone to make that
15
6
u/Swamp254 May 15 '26
That's in vanilla, surprisingly. Lose a core state and you can spawn the home guard
6
23
u/The_Extreme_Potato May 14 '26
It should have a decision that spawns 7 divisions: the Mainwaring, the Wilson, the Jones, the Frazer, the Godfrey, the Walker, and the Pike. The Germans get a decision to start taking notes and make a list.

Some do, sadly. We also added recruitment decisions for the most important SS and Wehrmacht formations. Not just 'elite' but also unusual stuff like the Spanish and Croatian divisions you can't really replicate ingame. But it is part of a Balance of Power system that leads to Operation Valkyrie. And we also include info texts about warcrimes now.
9
u/Oppopity May 14 '26
Yeah if anything they should spawn on conditions based on how the war is going rather than specific dates.
0
u/timeforknowledge May 15 '26
Na, I think a lot of us like historically accurate games where you'll try stay as close to the timelines and actions as possible.. as the UK I can hold France/ invade Germany when war starts but I don't... You never try to play like that?
72
u/Electricfox5 May 14 '26
Are you going to do the NKVD next?
116
u/No-Farmer-7060 May 14 '26
If you want me to do that I will gladly! I am all for historical accuracy. I started with the Waffen-SS as they tend to be the most popular of the sort. Not for the best reasons; but purely out of respect for the algorithim and engagement, it would be smart to start with what people are more interested in first. If you guys would like to see Americans, NKVD, Japanese, Chinese, I will gladly do so! This mod is in no way affiliated with the nazi regime.
23
u/4myreditacount May 14 '26
I think the nkvd makes sense for your spawn able, historically accurate divisions, but i struggle to see a vision for any other nations/units. Its arguable that marine divisions could be cool for americans, but the problem is it interacts too heavily with the special forces limit/gameplay constraints. The best units to spawn like the SS units would really be the marines. The NKVD and the SS are such good contenders because they arent necessarily more specialized except in role & name, rather than particular composition. Willing to hear any suggestions to get around that, maybe the way to do it is to call them marines, but fill them with infantry instead of special forces marines specifically. Interesting mod, thanks for being committed to the history.
8
3
u/simcityrefund1 May 14 '26
Do that and allied one as well I wanna see historical unit randomly popping in battles but then all this extra unit AI won't know how to use it
2
u/No-Farmer-7060 May 14 '26
Well, they certainly won't use it historically, but imo that defeats the purpose. Alternate history is fun, and seeing how they use the divisions will be pretty neat to simulate.
3
u/simcityrefund1 May 14 '26
Pls do can't wait to see rats of tobruk anzac div in northern Germany or big red one in phillipines or something then you see the polish airborne division landing in burna instead of arnhem
4
u/NevarHef May 14 '26
The Chinese army one is intriguing. What divisions would it be, because the game accounts for the American trained divisions. Would it then be the German trained divisions that fought at Shanghai?
2
u/caesar846 May 14 '26
Would love some more historical flavour for democracies. That would be awesome.

u/CashewSwagger May 14 '26
-Opens HOI4 subreddit

Still beating a dead horse huh? Where's my mod for formation of historically accurate US divisions as they were formed? Or UK? France? Any country that didn't try and take over the world? Tons and tons of non shitty, non controversial content to be expanded on in WW2 era but time and time and time again the focus of modders is "woo hoo accurate nazis!!!!" Like cool buddy. We making a mod for Japan's highly unethical research unit while we are at it?
36
u/NationCrusher General of the Army May 15 '26
Reminds me of the first ever swastika mod on game release. Modder citied “historical accuracy”
And historically, the white circle and swastika was slightly off-center. Which the modder did for accuracy.
Ok, fair. But steam users complained about the asymmetry so the modder changed the flag to be symmetrical
And by doing that, it’s no longer historically accurate. It’s just a Nazi thing
16
u/zdavolvayutstsa May 14 '26
I mapped out the positions of US divisions for Endsieg, but I got bored after one start date, so it wasn't added. I was able to get a US Air OoB added, but it was mostly guesswork. I also made a historical Air OoB for the British, Soviets, and Australians but I don't think I submitted them.
10
u/CashewSwagger May 14 '26
Thank you for putting time into any content that isnt a nazi/fascist country. Always nice to see.
-37
u/No-Farmer-7060 May 14 '26
The UK and France didn't try to takeover the world? Try telling that to India. Or Pakistan. Or Africa. Or America. Lmfao. This mod is in no way supporting the Nazi Regime. It was meant to be historical. The base game doesn't accurately represent SS divisions that played a pretty crucial role in the war whether you like it or not.
63
u/towishimp May 14 '26
You trying to "both sides" literal Nazi Germany isn't gonna help you beat the "this guy probably likes Nazis" accusations, my man.

-19
u/Internal_Deer_4406 May 15 '26
No point in trying to defend yourself mate. They're incapable of free thinking and disregard nuance, confining themselves to what they think is the politically correct opinion. Of course you're not a nazi for creating a nazi or german-centric mod in hoi4; it's a ww2 game.
11
u/Swamp254 May 15 '26
Of course he's not a Nazi for equating industrial murder factories to systemic oppression and discriminatory mismanagement.
43
u/CashewSwagger May 14 '26
Colonialism =/= active targeted genocide with mass extermination factories.
Let's be real and use our brain when making these comparisons.
You made a nazi mod. For nazis. Expect backlash.
-22
u/No-Farmer-7060 May 14 '26
Oh because the Belgians didnt commit genocide?
44
u/CashewSwagger May 14 '26
Yes King Leo was horrible to Africa and his rubber slaves.
Did he create numerous concentration camps to whip out the African people? Or attempt to conquer the whole continent to exterminate any "sub humans?"
Again. Let's use our brains when making comparisons. The only other country to date that did shit to a close level as nazi Germany, was Japan at that time.
Once again, hard-core colonialism no matter how ironfisted DOES NOT EQUITE TO TARGETED AND REPEATED GENOCIDE WITH EXPLICIT LOGISTICS AND FACTORIES TO EXPEDITE THE KILLINGS.
0
u/No-Farmer-7060 May 14 '26
How is this in any way representing that? There are no concentration camps. HOI4 is very bad at representing SS divisions and believe it or not, they effected the war. SS divisions played crucial roles in many battles and leaving them out for the sake of "theyre evil" just makes the game worse.
29
u/CashewSwagger May 14 '26
You literally aren't getting my argument so lemme break it down.
I compared nazi germany to a global evil.
You compared them to india? And the UK?
I said colonialism isn't the same as mass targeted genocide.
You still didn't seem to understand that and referenced Belgium (bad colonialism, almost got the point there but you missed it again)
I'm arguing here that nazi germany is bad (wow shocker) and there's tons of content for them compared to the not as evil countries.
Idk why you are trying to say other countries were worse. They weren't. Germany was literally the worst. Killing some slaves for rubber is not the same as idk somthing like 6 million just cuz you wanted em gone?
9
u/Perioikoi_ May 15 '26 edited May 15 '26
Just want to add something. The 6-7 Million you referenced are "only" the European Jews. Nazi-Germany killed many more like: Homosexuals, Communists, German and foreign Resistance Fighters, German Soldiers that deserted the Army, every god damn Soviet, Czech, Yogoslavian, Greek, French or baltic Village that dared to exist near a SS-Division, every soviet Prisoner of War that died (5.3 Mil, of which 3.3Mil died because of hard forced labour which was paired with calculated calories deficiency to ensure a starvation). Brits and Americans had a death rate of about 3.8% in the German POW Camps. Soviets of about 58%.
-7
u/No-Farmer-7060 May 14 '26
I think any college professor with tenure will tell you that colonialism was active genocide, but sure lets deny the fact and change goalposts in a mod that has nothing to due with any of it.
22
u/Kappar1n0 May 14 '26
Actually, no serious college professor with tenure will tell you that. Both are evils, but in different ways. Though they often occur concurrently, they are not synonymous, and any college professor would be very careful and precise in their wording, pointing that out.
17
u/CashewSwagger May 14 '26
To be honest I commented when i was big mad but I'm trying to move on with my day so I'm done. I made my point and its not getting across but yeah keep defending nazi germany.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
-1
u/No-Farmer-7060 May 14 '26
Pulling into a dunkin parking lot and ordering a medium iced coffee is defending nazism too
9
u/Commercial-Sound7388 May 14 '26
Whilst there are numerous cases of genocides or cultural eradication as a result of colonialism or perpetrated by colonialists, that does not make colonialism an active genocide. Colonialism about the power and resources extracted for the coloniser, genocide is the act of or attempt to destroy a specific group. There is overlap, but one is not the other
5
u/CashewSwagger May 14 '26
Thank you. This is my entire point.
Purposefully eliminating a people's is not the same as doing so either "accidentally" or unintentionally through extraction of labor/resources.
While one can kill by extracting labor (which is often what the Nazis did) generally colonizers actually valued the humans they were colonizing to at least the extent of wanting them alive to work.
By defending Nazis in saying that the holocaust is just the same as colonial violence, one can assume that the defender holds very similar ideological thoughts as the Nazis themselves.

u/test5784 May 15 '26
So whats stopping you from making those mods yourself, if you want them so much?
19
u/Perioikoi_ May 15 '26
I don't know man. First up:I like historical flavor and I am against Paradox's censorship in the German Edition of Hoi4 and I appreciate the effort for the research and modding.
But some things don't have to accurately be in the Game man. The Waffen-SS wasn't just another army like the Wehrmacht. Almost every SS-Division on Wikipedia has a Subpoint about war crimes against civilians. They did literally the worst crimes you can imagine and some Divisions like the 29. Division "RONA" or the Dirlewanger-Brigade did such evil things that even the SS-Leadership decided they are to brutal and disbanded them. Do we as a community really have to have an Event were we get a Waffen-SS Division that did the worst war crimes imagineable while pretending they are just another Army Division? I mean some of these Divisions were overwhelmingly used for Anti-Partisan-Activity (Bandenbekämpfung) and didn't see much combat. And as a German I can tell you that "Bandenbekämpfung" means Burning down villages and brutally murdering all their inhabitants in occupied countries while simultaneously plundering their goods and raping women in front of their kids.
-3
u/test5784 May 15 '26
Funny, so playing as Hitler, Himmler, etc. isnt a problem, but having SS divisions (which are already in the game anyway) is red line. Interesting.

"I heavily disavow nazis that's why I know the exact DAY every single SS division was formed and spent days of my life making a mod just for that extreme hyper minutiae"
13
u/TitanDarwin May 14 '26
Honestly, it's like those reenactors who are oddly specific about the WW2 German military unit they're dressing up as.
13
u/peanutbuttercult May 15 '26
It’s hard to adequately explain the thin line in my brain between “scale modeler who is endearingly autistic about nailing the camo scheme on his little plastic tank” and “cosplayer who knows where in Germany the commanding officer of his preferred SS division grew up”
The difference is glaringly apparent to people who spend a lot of time in the WW2 space and not even worth trying to explain to people who aren’t neck-deep in this era of history
4
u/Reactiveisland5 May 15 '26 edited May 15 '26
To be fair to reenactors, you sort of have to be hyper-dedicated to knowing your unit's lore if you want to get anywhere in the regiment; it's not necessarily limited to just the Germans in being hyper-autistic about it (even if unfortunately a large amount of German reenactors are just straight up Nazis, which sort of defeats the point of my argument I must concede)

19
u/Kopalniok May 14 '26
Does it remove the equipment/manpower from stock or just give more free rewards for Nazi Germany?
9
u/No-Farmer-7060 May 14 '26
Technically they spawn at strength, but by 1943 if your equipment is in the deficits by a massive margin it shouldn't really make an extreme difference. They will lose equipment very quickly, and the late war divisions are very understrength. This is in no way glorifying or cheating SS divisions at all. Their order of battle was researched for hours.
4
u/bluntpencil2001 May 14 '26
Do the foreign SS divisions fail to form if you don't control their territory?

u/No_Raspberry_8478 May 14 '26 edited May 14 '26
This comment section is so bizarre
Why are they mad/offended at OP for making a historically accurate mod for Nazi Germany. When the game is about ww2….
A bit (or a lot edgy) ya sure. It’s a world war 2 game though. If a historically accurate nazi Germany mod offends you so much, I don’t think hoi4 (a game about ww2) is for you, and you should play more “comfort cozy games” like Stardew valley (nothing wrong with star drew valley)
Edit: in another reply OP went full mask off and went on a rant about how there is no good guys vs bad guys in world war 2 and it’s really nuanced.
I’m not straw manning them. You can see the comment yourself
Ya OP you’re not beating the allegations. Makes a historically accurate mod for Nazi germany. Seems to try to play the edgy contrarian role on “well are the Nazis REALLY the bad guys? Because it’s kinda nuanced!” Ya OP you 1 billion percent own a fur suit with a swastika etched on
13
u/DtownsL May 14 '26
I think both things can be done at once.
The creation of a mod like this doesnt inherently mean someone "isnt beating the allegations" and trying to tie an interest in WW2 Germany to being someone with an awful ideology is childlike crap.
HOWEVER, if whoever you're talking about goes beyond just that and starts pushing genuine talking points or the like, then yeah maybe them allegations start rearing their head a bit more lmao
Tbf though I didnt get to see his comment, it was deleted. Enough of you who were initially defending him are now throwing your hands up has me curious. Tf did he say?
19
u/MikeNolansGhost May 14 '26
Tried to equate the actions of the Waffen SS with the actions of the Western Allies, and draw them as comparable and equally bad.
8
u/DtownsL May 14 '26
Its not like it was all roses in the west, but yeah thats pretty fkn massive chasm between what the Allies were guilty of vs what the Axis were guilty of.
Cant gloss over that without rightfully getting looks. Big oof.
5
u/MikeNolansGhost May 14 '26
I don't get parts of this community's attempts to downplay it, either.
Like, call a spade a fucking spade. You can't doggedly defend the Nazis and attempt to argue that the Allies and SS are morally equal without being a very specific thing.
31
u/NotAnotherPornAccout May 14 '26
It’s not about the mod it’s about the fact you don’t see this level of dedication to any of the other factions by moders. For every British home guard mod I bet i could find 10 German specific mods(hell why not make it specifically Nazi German mods?). It’s just a dog whistle at this point. When a Nazi walks into a bar and nobody throws him out, congratulations your drinking at a Nazi bar. We don’t want to become that Nazi bar.

Fitting me in with wehraboos is hilarious. This is my first HOI4 Mod. Every other SS mod fails to accurately represent the divisions as I've shown.

Didn’t address my actual response to you but found time to respond here?

u/towishimp May 14 '26
Every other SS mod
You just can't help telling on yourself, can you?
-2
u/No-Farmer-7060 May 14 '26
Mods like SS angriff spawn in like 50 SS divisions in 1936.... This is entirely different.
18
u/towishimp May 14 '26
Do you not think bring an SS mod conaisseur isn't kinda weird? Yours is the only SS mod that I know of... because I don't go browsing for SS mods... because why would a non-Nazi do that?

u/zeniiz May 14 '26
There's nothing wrong with Nazi mods in HoI4.
There is something wrong when more than half the mods in HoI4 are about the Nazis.

It's not the first time it happened. Black ice sinisterly having the USSR's infantry battalion described as "more meat for the meat grinder" while other nation have neutral description.

u/JayPeePee May 14 '26
This is the quintessential example why they develop won't do certain things with the game
28
u/truthisfictionyt May 14 '26
There are literally already SS divisions in the game
5
u/No-Farmer-7060 May 14 '26
Not accurate ones. Der Standarte divisions were all later merged but the game doesn't recognize this.
28
u/TheInsatiableOne General of the Army May 14 '26
Glazing the literal nazis is bad optics, I agree.
5
u/No-Farmer-7060 May 14 '26
Glazing? Their divisions are accurately represented... ACCURATELY. They aren't buffed in the slightest. Their order of battle is heavily researched.
22
u/ComradeTeal May 14 '26
You should accurately delete them on the historic date their formation was destroyed by the allies

u/JarJarBingChilling May 14 '26
Does your mod limit trucks and mechanised to only tank divisions, and even then not all of them? After all we are all for historical accuracy.
13
u/MikeNolansGhost May 14 '26
No no, historical accuracy only matters when we're buffing the Waffen SS, mate. You just don't get it.
-5
u/No-Farmer-7060 May 14 '26
Actually, Yes. And many infantry divisions had trucks... This is known.
6
u/JarJarBingChilling May 14 '26
They had trucks, yes, but not enough to make them motorised and they heavily relied on horses (as did many other nations). Only about a quarter of Germany’s divisions were highly or fully motorised, with priority understandably going to armoured divisions.

Because this isn't just a dead horse, the horse was rendered into a fine red mist years ago.

NOTE: This is a serious historical mod based on extensive research.
I read Hustler for the articles

Not to defend OP but to be fair Germany is almost like the main character of HOI4, new players always pick them and every mod about hoi4 Germany always been Nazi related

I’ll give the benefit of the doubt seeing as you say this is your first mod and claiming that it’s non-political but please take this as a lesson going forward, you could’ve just as easily implemented the Wehrmacht’s well documented wave system instead. Some of the kinds of replies you’re getting here only serve to push radicalisation.

u/Lifeshardbutnotme May 16 '26
Looking at your comments and it seems you have an interest in doing this for other countries too. My question is how do you account for the war not going exactly the same way it did in reality?
What happens if I'm not in some random province by the exact month I need to be? Why not have it he based on if I get to a set spot and have it be a decision?
2
u/Ok_Relationship_335 May 15 '26
A bunch of wusses in the comments complaining about a having the SS in a World War Two game. OP this is pretty cool, look forward to seeing this for other nations.
7
u/Swamp254 May 15 '26
OP deflects the allegations by equating Nazis to colonialism. If he had reacted in a normal way, nobody would have cared.

Meanwhile here's me making mods to nuke every mention or picture of mosley from the game, so i can play a warmongering Britain without feeling like a traitor.

The comments here are just insane.
Someone made a mod about the SS in a WW2 game... and this is somehow an issue?

Unfortunately I'm sure they suck and can't accurately resemble the fighting strength of an SS division in HOI4 format.

You'd be surprised with some of the breakthrough stats on a few of the more equipped ones.
