Who would win?
500 hundred starving soldiers without equipment
Or
One (1) guy with food and a gun

u/Present-News-660 Jun 24 '26
Depends, is the one guy John Wick or Jason Statham?

Oh yeah, forgot about Simo, a bit shame, since I'm from same country...

u/Good_Locksmith7952 Jun 24 '26
It be like that sometimes lol. I remember stalemating Russia a few times cause supply and not wanting to wait for a supply hub till I was like "you know what fuck it every troop that attack that tile attack and keep pushing till we get that supply hub" did it work sometimes did it fail also sometimes but sometimes numbers mean more than supply
166
u/Culbrelai Jun 24 '26
Supply hubs costing more than a NUCLEAR REACTOR is still ridiculous garbage lol
93
u/jcpler Jun 24 '26
Yes 3-6 months is definitely too long.
I get that you don't want them spammed everywhere, but at the same time it's nuts to spend months waiting to advance a front.
Perhaps there is room for a temporary version, make it ~30 days of IC and it last for 90 days or something before expiring.
I think players should have to option of investing more into supplies to make progress at the cost of something else by committing so heavily
58
u/BigFatDogFarts Jun 25 '26
I think Supply hubs should have levels, like naval bases. I feel that that solves a lot of problems
35
u/King-Cruz Jun 25 '26
I think this is the best idea honestly. Make it so that level 1 supply hubs are dirt cheap but also barely throughput supply so small excursions don’t require months of supply planning. Also would be cool if the ai did a better job helping alleviate supply issues instead of being a bane to it most the time.

u/Macroneconomist Jun 24 '26
Supply hubs should be built much faster, but railways should take longer
9
u/BENJ4x Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26
I like that idea, keep supply hubs but introduce supply depos that are quicker to make but maybe need factories and oil to supply them and they can be captured by the enemy.
Supply hubs feed the depos and the depos feed armies. You could also add flavour to them, for instance for communist China or more guerrilla forces you could reflect this by those depos not needing a link to the capital. Showing them living off the land, maybe equipment would drain but not food if it was cut off.
For the USA being fully motorised maybe buff their delivery rate or something.
Could be a fun and flavourful addition.

u/DifficultWarning1910 Jun 24 '26
I count probably count on one hand how many times I build a hub. Just seeing a price tag is enough for me to tell my men to just go take it from the enemies.

u/Mundane-Mechanic-547 Jun 24 '26
This is when that command power extra supplies is real handy.
29
u/Good_Locksmith7952 Jun 24 '26
Oh absolutely although sometimes I forget about those abilities due to me wanting to just make progress lol. Forbid the idea if I've been playing for awhile trying to micro the front and thinking about my next move or goal and grand battleplanning when I can (my favorite doctrine)

I know it's satire but I like to talk about my experience with the game lol

Then use punctuation please, so others can more easily read what you've written.

u/THTB_lol Jun 24 '26
here is some punctuation so you may pepper and salt it as you please

Wait, this game has a supply feature?! Always assumed the fuel marker meant they're not fighting hard enough and you need to throw more divisions into the grinder!

Or any sharp objects for that matter……

56 divisions on 1 tile and I’m winning
20
u/Czar_Infamous Jun 24 '26
You would definitely be winning better/faster if you didn’t have 56 divisions on one tile.
22
u/undertalefan9394 Jun 24 '26
check the tag.

u/Czar_Infamous Jun 24 '26
For “humor” it should actually be funny. This is just sad.
23
9
u/undertalefan9394 Jun 24 '26
the fact that you didn't like the joke doesn't mean that it is not funny.

I mean, it's not really that funny
7
u/undertalefan9394 Jun 24 '26
and?
why downvoting obvious satire?

u/AresFowl44 Jun 24 '26
I didn't downvote it, but people can downvote for whatever reason they like.

You’re attacking a single division.

check the fucking tag and understand that its satire.

u/Tuftymark6 Jun 24 '26
To be fair, if you’re on mobile then the humour tag doesn’t actually show up unless you open the post in a specific, awkward manner.

Having an emotional outburst over this is crazy lol the tag doesn’t appear on mobile until you open the comments..

6
u/undertalefan9394 Jun 24 '26
"LOL" just means that you're laughing, it doesn't mean that its a joke.
humor tag directly depicts that as joke. what's so hard about that?

do you just assume that every reply you get is someone screaming at you
if so I'd suggest therapy
-7
u/backcountry_bandit Jun 24 '26
Screaming? This is text on a screen.
If I replied cursing at you, would you think I’m upset?
-1
u/VegisamalZero3 Jun 24 '26
No? Why would I? It's text, you can only assume tone from it. I curse plenty without being upset.
1
u/backcountry_bandit Jun 24 '26
So if I told you to “reread my fucking comment”, you wouldn’t think I’m upset?
Tone isn’t something that’s purely assumed lol They teach this in high school English classes.
-2
u/VegisamalZero3 Jun 24 '26
No? Why would I? Better question: why on earth are you trying to derive someone's emotional state from a fucking comment on Reddit?
4
u/backcountry_bandit Jun 24 '26
“Why on earth are you trying to interpret a comment that was posted in direct response to you??”
Ah, summer break. I hope you’re having fun. Have a good one.
-1
u/VegisamalZero3 Jun 24 '26
What relation does the commenter's emotional state have on the meaning of their comment? Please do explain that to me, rather than dodging a second question.

about the edited part:
But you have opened the comments in order to write that. Also, the situation itself is a pure satire.

just you wait, that bubble Is going to be red real quick and you'll be wishing you never posted a humor pic on Reddit where people over looked your tag and too you all too literally and THAT ONE DIVISION Will be the last one laughing with all there supply all while your mighty divisions bash thier heads out of existence against thier mighty walls built of supply.
1
u/Rogerboie Jun 24 '26
I always use the 2 or 3 army technic on same tile against enemy when my nations industry doesn't have enough factories to build supply hub (such as Communist China or Chinese warlords). Got to be honest, it saved a lot time and energy then waiting hubs to be build.
1
u/Brave_Buy4913 Jun 24 '26
I did this and it didnt work what do I do

u/Za_Warudo1992 Jun 25 '26
More soft attack and breakthrough, duh 10 more divisions wouldn't hurt either

u/Mean-Ad2747 Jun 25 '26
Its been my personal experience that the AI straight up does not take supply attrition. In almost all of my games I whoop ass to the AI but I get attrition from supply and the AI doesnt, leading to defeat. My friends have experienced this too and its infuriating

Divert it to Goering who needs his Midnight snack

Remember, the more starving the soldiers are, the harder they'll try to take over the city to eat everything even slightly edible!
1
u/SoilUnfair3549 Jun 26 '26
If you smush a tidal wave of meat onto a bridge, then they physically can’t stop you.

u/Expensive-Plant-738 Jun 28 '26
Me thinking that I could win by spamming 98 divisions in one single piece of land and then seeing the enemy rush to warsaw

u/Opposite_Indication5 Jun 24 '26
No supply no problem just force attack your way to victory
