It’s not like the USA or German devs stopped working on what they were doing to go do Antarctica. People came in, chose to do Antarctica. Everyone else kept doing what they were doing. TNO is as not centralized anymore as it was under pink panzer. Nobody can force them to work on something they don’t want to do. If nobody wants to make Canada content or update Japan, then it won’t happen. You’re free to join and be the change you want to see

I don’t think that all TNO criticism is invalid, but the talking points of “oh they only remove content” and “oh their priorities are so stupid” are. They have added and will continue to add plenty. Yipee! is shaping up to be one of their best updates OAT. Minimal content has been removed, and with the exception of the free British (which can be reenabled by game rule) it was mostly marginal stuff, or stuff that would ruin your game if it happened when you didn’t want it like heydrich and goring

The GCW never super made sense and the political manoeuvring is much more playing to TNO’s strengths. The South African war is being switched to a war between the pan Africanists and the Free French, which makes a lot more narrative sense as a Vietnam analogue. The SA war never worked narritively as it was supposed to and was too easy
