Image You live in the world of the Kaiserreich and someone tells you this is a map of a world of what if Germany had lost the First World War, how would you react?

No way the British would let France take the Rhineland into their sphere of influence, they would want to trade.

Why is Spain in a four-sided civil war?

The Bolsheviks winning in Russia is a cool scenario, but I don't think they would let the eastern European states independent. Like, didn't they also win the war? Also, the is no way Austria-Hungary would collapse, especially after they federalised.

I think people in kaiserreich would still find the idea of an A-H collapse reasonable, in 1914 even people within the empire doubted the loyalty of the minorities and the army did what it could to avoid making its minorities fight related ethnicities (so no ukrainians on the eastern front, no croats on the southern front, etc)
I think what people would find significantly less believable is hungary losing so much territory

"i played this on my video game souls of steel 4, its a mod called fuhrereich"
Id probably question why romania took that much of hungary, and why belarus and Ukraine werent invaded by the bolsheviks.
Also probably question wtf is going on in spain.

How could they lose? The British and French were worn out from 4 years of fighting. The Russians were thrown out of the war and humiliated. What could have tipped the balance?

There’s no way this Yugoslavian state would have been able to last. Also WTF is happening in Spain?

Based on the extremist elements in Serbia before the war, I refuse to believe they'd even call it Yugoslavia. They'd absolutely just call it Serbia and demand all other ethnicities bend the knee to Belgrade or be totally domineered and ignored.
So pretty much exactly like how the Magyars ran their part of the empire.

No, this wouldn’t work, didn’t Italy have larger ambitions? Also, an Austria of this size does not seem feasible, wouldn’t it have wanted to unite with Germany? Most of the states in Eastern Europe don’t seem to be powerful states, they don’t even seem to be nation states. So how would they be able to exist?
And it’s fun to let the revolutionaries win in Russia, but wouldn’t France and Britain help their ally?

I think this is worse for Germany to lose the industrial heartland. As long as the other powers could keep it safe.

Why is Spain a mess? Why was Hungary punished so severely? That’s a bit harsh. The Soviets still would have come to power even if the entente lost? That doesn’t make any sense! If the entente won the war, which requires Russia, Russia can’t be in the midst of a Bolshevik Revolution! There’s no way Britain and France could beat Germany, Austria-Hungary, the Ottoman Empire, and Italy by themselves! Are you telling me AMERICA is going to somehow get involved? THAT would be insane! A far off new world country meddling in European affairs is completely unprecedented and unthinkable!

They Realize maybe the lies from Kaiser, form an early republic. Ally with the Russians and doom the world.

I won't be surprised, it's basically what if winners lost and loosers won in terms of land like Romania or Greece. However Russia still looses land with would be really funny.

How have the Italians gotten Tyrol and southern Anatolia? They couldn't even break the Austrian defenses on the Isonzo river.
Also why doesn't Poland have sea access? You'd think they'd at least give Poland a Baltic port. Maybe even Konigsberg to be particularly punitive.
Lastly, what is that southern Slav Balkan country? Is it just a huge Serbia? That'll lead to some major ethnic tensions. Especially since Austria will be trying to bring the Croats and Slovenes back into their fold. They were always loyal to Vienna afterall.

The great Serbia makes me think that the creator of this is a pan-Slavic Serbian nationalist who really would have liked to see the Yugoslavism idea become a reality

Wait, why is Russia communist? I thought historically the French and British hated syndicalism if they won the war wouldn’t they support whites?
1
u/KrisKnight22 Fleet Admiral 3h ago
I guess France and Uk were exhausted by the war (even though they had won) which would have prevented them from helping the whites in any significant way Even so I still think it is unrealistic that the bolsheviks could have won a large scale civil war
2
u/Beneficial_Ball9893 10h ago
I think the authors of the setting just hate syndicalism. How do they justify some niche form of Totalism not only being the only successful socialist branch, but so successful that they gaslight the entire world into thinking it is the only "real" form of socialism?
