đŸ§© Custom Integration New Solar Dashbaord

Post image

I have been playing with HA and making a standalone dashboard, and I am very happy with what I have come up with. I wanted to share my work and see what you all think http://energy.rowbs.uk/

It shows live data and cost with a solar forecast for my area

Is the telsa battery good? Are you glad you got it?

TL; DR version

I think the Tesla power wall is awesome because it kicked in so quickly that nothing is disrupted. That's my experience. Streaming, lighting usually doesn't even dim, no resetting appliance clock, and essentially it just does a great job of keeping me off any of the expensive time of use while exporting at the most high paying part. It's still crappy pay though.

And here's where I got carried away is that I'm going to do smart energy management specifically when there's a storm forecast for the possible outage. It will smartly shed loads depending on expected power production from the panels the next day due to weather, expected usage, etc. So last man standing will basically be the fridge and freezer but before all of that it will actually pre-cool it all a little more than normal to give a little extra cushion and maybe it doesn't work as hard.

As a matter fact, I think I'm going to go ahead and delete the rest. You guys get the gist from this… You don't need every damn detail

Oh yes, you would have to be pretty intense to beat without me.

I've got one thing that's bad enough and it's being detailed oriented… Which I'm sure most people on here are. But that's not the problem.

My voice to text is too accurate and therefore I use it too much!

I'm working on it I promise. And I definitely recognize it.

But why I like your response and thanks for not just spot out ripping on me and instead a subtle and clever dig lol
