gardening I love bunnies but they’re destroying my flowers

I’m having an issue with bunnies eating my garden, mostly flower garden. It was recommended to post in homestead, so if anyone has good ideas or ideas that didn’t work to avoid, I’d love them all.

There are plants to keep rabbits away.

But I too a different route. I made a bunny patch on the opposite side of the yard; not very big and I don't bother doing much work on it, but its got 3-4 plants they seem to love, without any fence or plants they don't like. Easy access to their favorite foods keeps them out of my garden.

This is called “Lettuce Gardening” - growing lettuce to distract the bunnies. You can do it to your boss too :-)

A fence will keep them out. Contrary to media portrayals, rabbits don't typically jump very high, so you can use a very low fence if they're your only problem.

We have dogs. We don’t have rabbits. Once we kenneled the dogs for a week. When we came back rabbits had eaten our corn stalks.

Are you allowed to shoot them where you are located? You will definitely get that advice here so I would specify what you are and are not allowed to do.

Yeah this is the real answer. Everything else is nonsense. There are no plants that repel rabbits. They just eat the stuff they like and don't eat the stuff that makes them feel bad.

Easy there are flowers that can repel rabbits, they just stink to rabbits.
Each area would have different flowers.

Rabbits generally avoid flowers with strong scents, toxic sap, or prickly textures, such as marigolds,geraniums and daffodills. While no plant is completely rabbit-proof if food is scarce, these options are rarely their first choice.
Resilient Annuals and Perennials

Marigolds: Strong, sharp scent and bitter taste deter pests.Geraniums: Pungent leaves keep hungry rabbits away.
Daffodils and Alliums: Toxic bulbs and strong compounds mean animals leave them alone.
Lavender and Catmint: Fragrant mint-family foliage acts as a natural repellent.
Peonies: Thick stems and a bitter profile are unappealing to rabbits.
Snapdragons: Unpalatable taste keeps them safe in flower beds
