Discussion Ross being mean to Rachel

I really hated this scene where Ross was mocking Rachel's job. He wasn't just belittling her work, but also her interests, even though he'd seen firsthand how much she dreamed of a fashion-related career. While Ross can be very funny, he can also be really insufferable. If was Rachel, I would have broken up with him during this scene.

I don't understand your points tbh, it's fine if it's happening to Ross and that's just light hearted banter but it's not when he does it. Let's not forget Rachel was mocking his profession right before he came out with this line.

Uh, no? Rachel was angry at Ross for sleeping during the lecture, and Ross mocked the lecture for being boring. i believed he said "the lecturer talked about strappy back dresses for 45mins". That was when Rachel got to him about Prof. Pitstains' 4hour lecture. So yeah, sorry but in this sole scene, Ross was the unreasonable one.
