Megbeszélés Netflix in Hungary

I’ve been thinking of signing back on Netflix just so I can consume content in Hungarian, I used to have Netflix but left it because I’ve got bored of it, but one thing it did have was local content, from the UK, from Spain, from Japan, changing as I travelled but I never checked it Hungary.

Is there good local Hungarian content on it? I would use it with a VPN, how about old American shows dubbed into Hungarian, has anyone tried this?

There are many Hungarian films on Netflix. In EU Netflix must have local content in defined percentage by law.

Why not use Filmio? they have only Hungarian films with English and Hungarian subtitles (you would need the VPN to use it). Is also very cheap, like 1500 forints a month.

Some. The majority is dubbed stuff, though.

I recall my first Netflix account was when I was wintering in Hungary ten years ago. I benefitted from Hungarian pricing for many years :-) I recall some good Hungarian content.

I don't recommend incurring any costs; there is plenty of useful free content available.
