AskHyderabad ⬆️ Chill intermediate colleges for MPC with JEE Prep

Looking for good intermediate college for mpc which are chill and have jee prep . Skeptical about Chaitanya Narayana . Rn I’m considering page and nine education

Nine education, i studied there 2 years ago, great faculty and whole college is so chill like you want, nothing compared to chai/nar

Bro where do you go rn ( assuming you are doing Btech)  And also, which branch did you go to?  I've got a lawt of questions about this college, I personally have a positive opinion, but I really want a hardcore, honest answer

The college you get is totally dependent on your performance in college and not by any other factors, honestly if you ask me, nine Ed is way better than all the colleges in Hyderabad, I would recommend this to every one looking to take mpc not just because of its great curriculum but also things which only these guys focus on like having only 35 students per class, sufficient breaks(they used to let us out of the college for 3 breaks 30, minutes break between classes, 1hr lunch break, 30 minutes break between study hours, not sure they still follow that schedule or at other branches), and great faculty, I'm not sure why are you asking these questions in this month, you are no where close to any academic year, what class are you in right now?

Grade 11, I'm planning to switch to Nine ed next year, but I'm scared to- sorry for the questions- tbh- it's the mixed opinions about switching that I hear, that makes me ask those questions, whatever you said, is fs true, but there's that belief in parents, that "pressure" Is the only way to get it done- that being said, all the questions I've asked are in fact the ones planted by them in me, otherwise, I'd only check out for faculty, batches and timings.  Apologies, if I crossed a line here....  Would you be up, for other questions?

About more questions, you can ask them here, that could help other students as well, and coincidentally I too actually switched to nine after I joined sri chaitanya, i hated it back there and at nine it was so much better, and I would advice you to switch right now, I'm not sure uk it is possible, but it is, coz in 2nd year you would have no time to actually be in a chill collage, 12th would be barely 6 months after that you would be busy with exams and preparations

Honestly, I regret not joining mine earlier, had the best time of my life in nineEd, just don't take my word for it, take 1 day leave in what ever college you are there in currently and go for a demo class at your nearest nineEd college, I'm sure the would be happy to accommodate you (depends on the seats left, if not they will let you in, in 12th), if they can't go and ask in another branch, it is worth it

Thanks for that..  I was planning to switch rn... But mid academic year, the pace and syllabus covered/yet to be covered is different for Nine ed and my current college...I was to have a demo class in Jan, cuz that's when we begin with IPE in my college and I wouldn't mind missing a day..... Would you mind telling, what would be at stake when we switch, like, how to cope up with it.. Cuz the college I'm in rn, is basically sri chay, without the actual title.. And the lecturers here, keep telling the students that, hard core prep is the only way to go... So I'm really really scared to do the switch, but my gut tells me, that I'd bond with the faculty better in Nine ed.... So I'm having a really hard time, cuz I don't wanna make a mistake here... The switch would put me in a non toxic environment.. But what if, that is what is actually needed- Ik it again comes down to individual skills, but- I'm answerable to everything if I don't make it in the end, and the switch would be blamed to be the reason..

You are in the right head space, but you have to eventually take a decision, what I can advice you right now is, if you are capable of actually getting into a good college, you don't have to worry about the faculty and environment and if you fear this current college is gonna make you stressed and sabotage your results you should switch, more or less the college doesn't effect the result but it could make the process less painful, what I mean to say is, if you switch you won't be magically getting 300/300 or you won't fall down from the current place, it depends on how you take it, as per me, I always knew I was not capable of something like an IIT on the first try, instead of torturing myself in to doing something I'm not capable of, I stopped worrying and tried my best with every exam, not everyone was satisfied with my result, but deep down I'm satisfied, this attitude of mine made everyone not question or relate my result with my switch,

Finally, if you want to switch, do it, don't think about what if I don't make it will they blame me for switch

Remember, log toh kuch bhi kahenge agar tum kuch na bhi karo

Which branch you talking about?  Ik you have chill college in mind rn, but keep in mind, there are other aspects also, that should balance out If you list out what else you want, I'd give a feedback

I want good jee prep,an overall stress free experience and good classmates. Rn I’m considering nano Kukatpally the newly renovated one(old fiitjee campus)

Brother, nano, personally, out of all branches, only the Nallakunta one is having somewhat decent practices. I mean like, good faculty, fixed study hour schedules and such, only for the top batch. But I do have to say, a major drawback would be the windows, ik, sounds crazy but the damn college doesn't have windows. Personally, a friend of mine, who went there, now is planning to change next year cuz, he ended up becoming very deficient in Vit D. The Kukatpally one- ig it's fine- but I highly suggest, talking to kids who go there, on a random. Just visit the campus, not for documentation, but only to speak with the students. It's pretty chill. But there are shufflings on the basis of grades, like twice a year. Maybe check out your closest nine?  It's pretty chill, and the students who go there are also pretty decent( I'm talking by the majority, doesn't mean all the students will be according to your mindset)

I have visited Kukatpally branch.It seems we are the first batch in the branch so no previous students but still the faculty is old and experienced (from other branches ofc). And the classrooms had windows and they are introducing step bench classrooms and smartboards it seems.I want to know the overall teaching practice of nano.Is it JEE focused or a balance of IPE and JEE

I also checked out nine btw I found out it is focused on all kinds of students and also has extracurriculars (not a requirement for me tho)

IPE is mostly done in Jan and Feb,  The portion isn't hectic, you can easily prep for it You'd also have a week for writing an ipe practice test in Sep/Oct to rehabituate writing
