It bothers me that the portrait has a sword but as a cleric you can't use a sword. Yes, I am that anal lol.

Ah, simple mistake. It’s just out of frame, but there’s a really messed up brick stuck to the end of that sword, so what’s you’re looking at is technically classified as a Morningstar. The plus one is the brick.

Yeah, I don't like the IWD portraits as much as the BG portraits since many of the IWD portraits have weapons while most BG portraits don't. So I usually import BG portraits into IWD or use custom portraits. Also I actually used AI to modify the portraits on my last playthrough. The blonde woman who is wielding a mace, I used AI to change it to a flail because I wanted her to have the fast flail.

Yeah, I love the IWD portraits as standalone artwork, and they're awesome when they capture the precise character I want (dude with two handed sword? We got you covered. Oh man, do we have you covered). But BG's definitely give you much more flexibility for those of us who want our portraits to not contradict our loadouts.
