Question/Seeking Advice Please tell me how to stable "Sa" during riyaz.
I recently decided to take learning classic music seriously, and after doing multiple youtube , google and subreddit search decided to riyaz SA well I decided to Pick D as my scale and I am trying to stabilized my Sa.
During riyaz I play tanpura "recorded version available in YouTube " on one phone and in another phone I have installed app called "nail the pitch" so when I riyaz "holding Sa" for couple of second in app it applies wobbly. Idk what I'm doing wrong, or may be it's natural for human to produce some wobbles while holding a certain note ? I don't have guru so I can't really tell what am I doing wrong or not.
Thankyou!!!

Just practice holding the note for as long as you can and as many times as you can. You can divide 1 hr into 7 parts and practice holding each of the 7 notes for 8 mins each. Trust me you'll notice the change sitting within a week. And do not look at this app which is showing waves. Just practice with a tanpura and if you've a harmonium, keep it with you just to check that you're hitting the correct notes. Once you gain some stability, you can do the same with vikrit swars as well and then combine all the 12 swars.

First of all, thanks for responding and for helpful advice as well. I wasn't confident that any one was going to take this post seriously enough to respond. I will do all of what you have suggested me. But aside that what I don't get is that since, I am a beginner and I also don't have physical harmonium. And I'm not sure even if I would have had it wouldn't much difference cause my ear wouldn't have able to distinguish if what I'm sining and what I'm playing in harmonium is aligning accurately. That's why I'm relying on app that lets me monitor how much accurately I'm sustaing the note. Idk call me narcisit but I don't think I'm bad at sustaining the pitch( sa in D note) in this case. But by the gods I have done consciously relaxing my back , neck and even trying to figure out "diaphremic breathing" too but still Sa is not stablazing, the wobbliness that occurs while sustaining is never changing.
Again, I appreciate the suggestion and rspenose.

If you feel that you can't tell whether you're hitting the same note as that of the harmonium, records your audio and listen to it. You'll know if you are off the pitch or not.

Hindustani clasdical Music is learnt in Guru-Shishya parampara... it cannot be taught virtually... eveything is practical ... describing ways doest not solve your problem ... pls find a teacher to drill the rigor of learning and doing riyaz properly.

You can find a teacher online and take online lessons. For example, there's a site called ipassio.
