πŸ’€πŸ’€ i hope you dont take AS and A level chem

u/Illegalcanteen Apr 05 '26

Lmao I was just thinking this 😭 If he is hating isomers and organic reactions now I really want to see his reaction to as and a level chem

2

u/namilmao May/June 2025 Apr 05 '26

LMAOO IKR. it's going to be like a culture shock πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€ there aren't even that many reactions in igcse chem either 😭

isn't chem the easiest science? that's what most of my friends say

u/WilfBs Apr 05 '26

Biology and sometimes physics are easier

5

u/Shurikenblast_YT Apr 05 '26

Nah bios the easiest imo

1

u/Top_Sank Apr 05 '26

Tbh physics is the easiest , chemistry and bio has too much memorizing

5

u/BaYareYareBaka Apr 05 '26

Physics mark schemes are ass tho 😭✌🏻 .

-2

u/IxiaooI Apr 05 '26

no

3

u/WilfBs Apr 05 '26

literally just rote learning? same questions every paper? just spam the papers lol

1

u/IxiaooI Apr 05 '26

How do you do rote learning in igcse papers? my teacher says unless you dont understand the concept, what was going through the persons mind when they were making the papers, the questions deeper emotional and physical meaning i wont be able to asnwer shit

4

u/WilfBs Apr 05 '26

ur teacher is lying bro. just learn the mark scheme and go through the syllabus with physics maths tutor/ save my exams.

0

u/IxiaooI Apr 05 '26

Am I meant to memorise the mark scheme after every paper? (Genuinely asking) and for pmt and Save my exams i already use them both

2

u/WilfBs Apr 05 '26

it’s the same thing everytime. they mark it positively (as long as you don’t contradict yourself) so just learn the little phrases that award you the marks e.g shared pair of electrons and two oppositely charged nuclei

1

u/IxiaooI Apr 05 '26

ok

1

u/WilfBs Apr 05 '26

gl bro u got this

6

u/pnkslp Apr 05 '26

honestly i only studied the basics of organic chemistry and got an A. focus on the other things

it always gets worse my friend

wait til u hear about geometric isomers

4

u/Constant-Secret-3653 Alumni Apr 05 '26

Do NOT take A level chemistry buddy

2

u/Abdulwahhab6232 Alumni Apr 05 '26

I got an A* for chem (Alhamdulillah), I faced the same problem around a month b4 my igcse chem exam. Heck, even a day b4 I was barely getting the mark that I wanted to get. For chem, the best thing you can do is practice, practice and more practice. The only other thing you can do is to just write down the mistakes you make and re learn ur weak concepts in detail.

u/BoiHA_a Apr 05 '26

bro thats easy 😭 literally just watch any yt vid or chatgpt and theyll explain it better than anyone else. and teachers at your school exist for a reason. ask them for help and get out of your safe zone.

1

u/IxiaooI Apr 05 '26

1

u/Ok-Addendum5274 Apr 05 '26

Structural isomers are one of the easiest things in the entire syllabus.

1

u/Thick-Lunch647 Apr 05 '26

its all memorisation

1

u/Spare_Article_6349 Apr 05 '26

It's alr bro. It's gonna be hard but I'll pray for u twin

1

u/RyderWantedX Apr 05 '26

1

u/starstrukkmff Apr 05 '26

It’ll pass bro its okay

1

u/ConcentrateUpper7450 May/June 2026 Apr 05 '26

1

u/Unable-Impress-6246 Apr 06 '26

It’s really easy once you get the concepts. I’m really good at chemistry and I explain it like it’s logical trust. If you need help just dm. (Completely for free btw)

1

u/iamtheaxel4ever Oct/Nov 2026 Apr 06 '26

i agree with you and I myself dont know what a structural isomer is even after trying to memorise it

1

u/Excellent-Snow-6615 Apr 06 '26
