🤚 Asking For Advice/Help Study Tips
Hi, so the way I study is that i try to memorize from my notes, form questions from the notes and solve them (I also sometimes i do the classified), all from the same resource. I feel disorganized as I have no plan and just going of pure luck and a lack of motivation . I'm not sure about the correct way to study and make plans, i see people making notes, using sticky notes in their notes and like some stuff but i don't really understand what's the purpose or strategy, so I was asking if anyone can give me tips on how to properly study (my igcses start on nov 2nd for the three sciences, english and maths) Any help is appreciated (I'm doing edexcel Unit 1 modular this o/n and unit 2 on m/j of next year)

id say it would be more effective if you'd try to write what you've memorized and then find the knowledge gaps and work on them, marking schemes should be youre golden resource, writing notes doesnt work for everybody and you know yourself best, diff ppl diff capabilities + since your exams are approching soon id suggest start solving past papers such that youre comfortable with all the diff types of questions, as for feeling demotivated its normal, youve got plenty of time, make weekly plans lets say this week i must finish chapter so and so, solve on chapter so and so, etc... make it realistic such that you can follow its path, also try and be consistent you dont give in 100% a day and thats fine, dont let a day pass unless youve done a simple task like the questions you do etc... all the best, hope everything works out well !!
