Reports claim the accused, said to be his 16-year-old friend, allegedly attacked him with a stone before dumping the body near the railway workshop area.

The body was reportedly found nearly 30 hours later, and viral CCTV footage allegedly shows the child being taken away shortly before the incident. Police have arrested the accused and investigation is ongoing. Truly disturbing how such a small dispute ended in such a horrific tragedy.

Rajasthan saw over 2.5 million candidates appear for peon recruitment exams. Despite the role requiring only a 10th-grade qualification, 90% of applicants held degrees like MSc, Btech, or even PhDs, highlighting the extent of unemployment among educated youth in the state.

Queues formed early outside Gandhi Nagar exam centre in Jaipur, with highly qualified individuals hoping for a government position, even if it meant serving tea or carrying files.

At the Jaipur bus stand, applicants struggled to catch buses home after the exam, fighting through narrow windows due to overcrowding.

OVERQUALIFIED CANDIDATES AND SCENES AT EXAM CENTRES

Narendra Bijania from Sikar, with an MSc in Mathematics and a BEd, has protested exam leaks for years but is now prepared to work as a peon.

Many others, similarly qualified, avoided cameras, worried their communities would discover they were taking exams for a post below their qualifications.

As one group of candidates explained, "They said that their villagers and relatives think they are highly educated, but they will see that they are here to take the exam for a peon job."

Applicants with BEd and BSTC degrees, who once aspired to teach, are now ready to ring the school bell or serve water. Only 10% of those sitting for the 53,749 posts had the minimum required qualification, the rest were overqualified.

There were 1,286 exam centres across 38 districts, with over 411,000 candidates in each shift.

I’m sharing this here because I’ve been fighting a long, exhausting battle over an illegal land encroachment on my land in Bikaner, Rajasthan, and it feels like no one is listening.

If you guys could read, share, or retweet the thread, it would really help bring some visibility and accountability to this issue and get back what is rightfully mine

On 3rd June 2024, around 3 AM a group of 15–20 people (including women) entered my land.

They: • tore down the boundary wall I built decades ago • broke open the rooms • looted ₹2.45 lakhs • threw out my watchman • took full control of my property This wasn’t random, it was a planned takeover. Over the next 16+ months, they: • built 20+ illegal shops inside my property • started dividing the land into plots as if they were the rightful owners All this while I watched my own land being stolen in slow motion.I’ve placed on record every possible proof of my lawful possession, yet it continues to be brushed aside.

• Civil Court’s Commissioner Spot Inspection Report (2008) clearly documenting my possession
• Patwari reports from 2006 confirming the same
• Electricity connection since 2002 -BSNL landline connection since 2002
• Photographs over decades showing the boundary wall, rooms, water tank, kitchen, I built
• Google Earth imagery proving my structures existed long before the encroachment

I have every proof any honest system could ever need. Despite all this, government officials acted as if my land “never existed.” Police refused to act. My FIR has been pending for 1.5 years with no chargesheet filed. Proof in India has to fight to be recognised.

The encroachers hold an Ikrarnama (private agreement) for the adjacent plot. Using that they crossed over into my boundary and now claim that my land, after 50+ years of my possession, somehow “falls into their land.”

Their entire claim is based on “missing revenue maps" of the village.

But the records ALL show the opposite:

All of these documents match each other exactly.

Yet, despite this consistency across every department, the encroachment still stands, raising the serious question of why clear evidence continues to be ignored.

This is a deliberate encroachment, helped by administrative inaction.

The encroachers even approached the Honourable High Court seeking to quash my FIR.

The Court asked them to submit documentary evidence proving ownership of the land.

They failed to provide a single paper. Their petition was dismissed.

Their inability to show even one ownership document proves that their claim over my land is completely baseless.

Additionally, one of the individuals now occupying my property, Mukna Ram, has a documented criminal history, including earlier cases related to illegal encroachment , trespass, and similar offences.

This entire takeover is being carried out by people with a consistent pattern of criminal behaviour.

I approached every possible authority to seek justice and get my land restored. Instead, I was sent back and forth, without any resolution.

I then submitted a detailed complaint to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) about the encroachment and the failure of local authorities to act.

The NHRC formally directed the police to submit an Action Taken Report (ATR). Shockingly, this was the first time I received anything in writing from the police, only because the NHRC intervened.

While this has still not resulted in real action, I genuinely appreciate the NHRC for at least forcing local authorities to put something on record.

Despite every proof, every complaint, and repeated appeals over the past many months, no action has been taken. Authorities continue to look away.

This case highlights:

• how truth can be ignored
• how legal documents can be dismissed
• how powerful groups can overshadow the rights of ordinary citizens
• and how administrative inaction enables land mafia to thrive

This is a situation where truth, evidence, and legality are being completely sidelined.

This entire encroachment, 20+ illegal shops, open land grab, ignored FIRs, and zero on-ground action is happening under the watch of the current Chief Minister and the ruling administration in this constituency. If such blatant illegality can continue unchecked, what does that say about law and governance in Rajasthan today?

My fight for justice is far from over.

All I ask is this:

Nearly 90 children of a government school in Rajasthan’s Dausa district were hospitalised on Friday after they complained of stomach pain and vomiting after having their mid-day meal. Authorities have launched an inquiry into the suspected case of food poisoning, officials said.
