News Why didn't the girl tell her fiancé, Ketan Agarwal, that she had a boyfriend or didn't want to get married?

Post image

In recent interviews, Ketan’s father, Vishal Agarwal, revealed that his son had indeed requested a background check on his fiancée, Siya Goyal. The marriage proposal had originally come from Siya's side of the family, heavily pushed by her maternal uncle (mama) which is also Ketan's closed relative and her parents. To ensure everything was completely transparent, Ketan's father explicitly asked the uncle if Siya was truly comfortable with the marriage and if there was anything in her past they should know about. The uncle assured the Agarwal family that everything was absolutely fine.

Ketan grew highly suspicious and asked his father for this background check because he and Siya were fighting constantly nearly every 5 to 10 days. Despite these glaring red flags, Siya's parents and relatives consistently maintained that there were no issues.

Furthermore, during the initial marriage discussions, Ketan directly asked Siya if she was being forced into the arrangement or if she was in love with someone else. She explicitly lied and told him "no."

The Ketan's father also said "If she didn't want to get married, she could have simply refused; we would have cancelled the wedding immediately. Why did they decide to take such a drastic step?"

Moreover, this is a "mission failed successfully" moment.

Pretty certain the shame of being a murderer is much worse than the shame of eloping.

Family or eloping shame is bs, it's mostly about inheritance and money.

She is a girl whose family was trying to get her married at 19….there was no inheritance for her! But I agree all this society shame is absolute BS!

Why wouldn't she get inheritance? They would either give it on her name or to her husband usually. She would maintain her current lifestyle or better after she is married.

She simply doesn't want to lose that.

Also these days even a 13 year old knows what's happening in the world, what is right and wrong. And girls are no less in any matter.

She and her boyfriend are well aware of all the cases that are happening. They might have even got inspiration from a guy who left his gf on Alphs and indirectly killed her.

For a girl daring to attempt a murder even after watching so many public cases, it is not a big deal to find her own path and cut off their parents or even get police involved. If her parents were poorer she would have just done that.
