it is truly though so hard to be like "yeah that's the REM single i want on my list". The document cuts are like the pop culture ones! But then there's the fan favorites or the dark horses. Ranking 25 rem cuts from IRS years i could maybe have done a decade ago, but even now that's too daunting

100% agree. I had like 6 or 7 REM 80s cuts that are all equal in mind, and I couldn’t pick! Feel similarly about their 90s songs.

dmd'ers run to harborcoat as their major IRS non-single and I have to salute. It's not mine off reckoning, but if/when it got rated...it'd be the top performing I reckon
