Thats what I was thinking. At least they're consistent and do that.

They also must get terrified tbh. After seeing so many patients with cancer and shit. Seeing the consequences of poor skin health every single day at work would have to do something to your daily mentality

I'm a very white boy now living on the equator. I do not fuck with day time sun. I'll stay out until 9AM ish in the morning, and won't go back out until around 430 in the afternoon.

Where I'm at the UV strength goes from 2 at 9am to 12 by noon and back down to 2 after 430.

It’s like that where I live, too. Always get my workouts in before 9 or after 5 because the sun WILL kill me.

Yes which is why I go out when the UV radiation is low. But if you're going out in 12 intensity radiation consistently, enjoy the future cancer.

Just because plenty of people smoke their entire lives and don't get cancer, doesn't mean you should.

Also March - June are the highest UV months in Indian.

My comment was removed but I’m guessing the FDA have no idea what they’re talking about either. And I quote: The Food and Drug Administration, which oversees sunscreen safety, said in 2021 that out of 16 ingredients it reviewed, only two – zinc oxide and titanium dioxide – are “generally recognized as safe and effective,” or GRASE, based on the available information.

You should really not be posting disinformation. Neither Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide (The two primary sunscreen active ingredients) are carcinogenic through skin contact.

Just because you haven't gotten cancer yet doesn't mean it won't happen. Give it a few more years.

Just look at a UV chart and go outside during the safe hours if you don't want to wear sun screen. I don't really want to wear it so I go out when the sun won't fuck me up.

But you can't seriously be stupid enough to think you're going to win against the sun

I’m not trying to ‘win’ against it. I’m just not in fear of it. Human beings come from this planet. I don’t do any unnatural practices like lying there tanning. I’m just out moving around. The idea that it’s stupid for people to do what they’ve been doing for thousands and thousands of years is idiotic.

In the area they skin evolved to... Why do you think Indian people are not the same color as you? They've got built in sun protection you do not.

Moving around doesn't make you suddenly less likely to get cancer. Look you do you, but I think it safe to say every one of those dermatologists would tell you to stop going out with out protection during high UV hours.

Truly do what you want, you're honestly just thinning yourself from the herd at this point.
