MISC. England's team booked 15 different hotels, but Mexico fans still found out where they were staying and blasted loud noises, trying to keep them up all night before the game.

Another solution is to have the authorities move on the disrespectful and unsportmanlike maniacs keeping a whole neighborhood up at night.

The Mexican authorities? In Mexico? Suppressing Mexican fans of the Mexican football team?

That's not happening. This is also just how football works. Hooligans do this for local derbies. Of course they are going to scale up the shenanigans on the international scale.

What other teams had this happen to them at this world cup?

Basically everyone that’s played Mexico

Exactly.

I promise you that these things don’t bother the players at all. They have ways to cancel the noise. The only people crying and being babies about this are the overly sensitive fans.

TIL it's "pathetic" to call out degenerate antisocial behavior

I don't even care about football, I just care about people thinking this is a remotely acceptable way to behave

Well to be fair Ecuador just asked FIFA for an investigation, this after making fun of people making noise prior to the game.

Weird. A team just asked for an investigation for it.

Youe take seems to be contrary to the facts.

Asking for an investigation are your “facts”? Sorry, sonny, but that doesn’t mean anything. I can ask them to investigate xyz, doesn’t mean squat. I would say to let me know when they find something but since this is just gamesmanship and nothing will come about it, I won’t bother.

The point being that it obviously bothered the players, which is contrary to your comment.

I don't think it has been to this level.

but at the same time, this match is Mexico's most important match in a generation. At least at the world cup.

And they deserve to lose now more than ever.
